### 5/5 — Fast contracting process

*2026-06-05, version 2.50.1*

Very easy to contract and use of app very innovative. Thanks god I did not have to use it, but felt very secure having it available

### 4/5 — Peace of Mind

*2026-05-29, version 2.50.1*

Thankfully, we had no need to use the insurance. It would be excellent customer service if some percentage of the fee was returned when there were no claims or contact.

### 5/5 — Best travel insurance experience

*2026-05-26, version 2.50.0*

I had a medical emergency during my trip to East Asia. The team at Faye was very helpful and direct me to the appropriate emergency care. After arriving back home, the claim was closed in a very short time.

I am very happy with them and recommend them warmly.

### 5/5 — Shannon Aganza

*2026-05-26, version 2.49.0*

I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and support I received from Faye Travel Insurance during one of the most difficult experiences of my life.

While traveling in a remote area of Egypt, I suffered a devastating fall from a high ledge that resulted in serious injuries requiring spinal surgery, as well as surgeries to my lower leg and foot. The logistics alone of handling a medical emergency in a remote foreign location are overwhelming to even imagine — but Faye immediately stepped in and took charge with professionalism, compassion, and extraordinary efficiency.

What impressed me most was not just that they “covered” the situation, but how deeply they cared about my wellbeing every step of the way. They even arranged for a doctor to travel from Cairo to personally escort me back to Cairo safely, where I remained for the next three weeks recovering before they coordinated my return home.

Throughout the entire ordeal, I felt supported, protected, and genuinely cared for. Every moving part (medical coordination, transportation, communication, logistics) was handled with remarkable attention and humanity.

When people hear the story of my “adventure,” I always make a point to emphasize my gratitude to Faye. In a moment of true crisis, they provided what felt like premium, world-class care, and I honestly do not know what I would have done without them.

I would recommend Faye Travel Insurance without hesitation.

### 5/5 — Great Service

*2026-05-18, version 2.49.0*

We purchased insurance for our trip to Italy. Unfortunately my wife became ill and had to visit a physician, which caused us to miss a side trip from Rome to Venice for which we had purchased train tickets and our hotel stay. Faye reimbursed all costs as promised and transferred the funds to our wallet very timely.

### 4/5 — Initial Login Is Awful

*2026-04-30, version 2.46.2*

Same problem as above, except that I know I’m using the correct email address. Caught in endless login in loop where it keeps wanting me to buy insurance even though I already did. And I cannot access the other features of the app. Could be that Faye hasn’t set up my account yet. If so, then either don’t give me the QR Code immediately after purchasing the policy or at least alert me to the delay. Incredibly frustrating and annoying!!

### 2/5 — Bad UX

*2026-03-27, version 2.45.2*

I’ve been going back and forth on a small claim. They’ve been asking for information I clearly listed in the description of the photos I uploaded. After waiting on hold today, I learned that the reps can’t see the description. This is a huge gap and a waste of everyone’s time. Fix your app to where I don’t have to provide information twice.

### 5/5 — Trip to Spain

*2026-03-24, version 2.45.0*

Thankfully did need them. The App is very easy to use and the cost was very reasonable. We’ll continue to use Faye for our future travel.

### 5/5 — Faye was great!

*2026-03-16, version 2.44.0*

I loved how fast and easy it was to buy trip insurance and I loved all the extras like the currency converter. I used that a lot actually.

### 1/5 — Good Luck

*2026-03-01, version 2.43.0*

Good luck getting your claim paid. They will ask for proof you were not already paid for covered costs by your “Common Carrier”. That’s right—you will have to show paperwork for a transaction that does not exist. Enjoy.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-17, version 2.55.1*

Claim they will cover preexisting conditions, give them documents verifying the preexisting condition, refuse to provide reimbursement for said preexisting condition despite meeting all of their requirements.

### 1/5 — Minutes to buy insurance, months waiting for payment

*2026-08-07, version 2.55.0*

The worst travel insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. What good is a slick app when they won’t pay your claims? I’d give zero stars if I could.

### 1/5 — Zero help-Zero Progress

*2026-07-26, version 2.54.0*

I’m nearly a month into a very simple claim. I have submitted everything that’s been requested, sent chat messages several times, called several times to explain the situation, sent emails, re-explained, and continue to go in circles. I’m asked for the same materials and supplemental items over and over again, told it’s resubmitted, only get emails shortly after requesting what’s already been verified and confirmed over the phone. This very much feels like a never ending process. And a scam. Find another company to spend your funds with. This one is not helpful or customer focused. Not to mention you’ll likely not see any funds.

### 1/5 — Ticket refund

*2026-06-04, version 2.50.1*

We had tickets to fly out of the country on Spirit when they shut down. I submitted my claim 18 days ago and it’s still under final review!
The company went out of business I already had all my travel plans booked picked the most affordable airlines and still nothing. We are about to fly home and the claim is still under final review!
I’ve called to check on it, but just stuck waiting and out a LOT of money for the insurance & new tickets!

### 1/5 — Bought Insurance, Got No Help When I Needed It

*2026-06-01, version 2.50.1*

I purchased Faye Travel Protection specifically to protect my trip against unexpected travel disruptions. Unfortunately, when I actually needed to use the insurance, the experience was frustrating and disappointing.

My VRBO reservation in Venice was canceled by the host on the day of check-in, leaving me stranded and forced to find emergency accommodations at a significantly higher cost. This is exactly the type of situation most travelers believe travel insurance is meant to help with.

I submitted a claim immediately. On May 15, I was told the claim was in the “finalization stage.” After another follow-up, I was told on May 26 that I should expect a resolution by the end of the week. Despite these assurances, I continued waiting for updates.

After weeks of review and repeated follow-ups, the claim was ultimately denied because a host canceling a vacation rental is apparently not considered a covered event under the policy.

What disappointed me most was not just the denial, but the lengthy claims process and lack of transparency. If the policy clearly excludes this type of situation, that determination could have been communicated much earlier instead of keeping customers waiting while being told the claim was nearing completion.

Travelers should carefully read the fine print and understand that even if a vacation rental host cancels your reservation on the day of arrival and you incur substantial unexpected expenses, coverage may still be denied.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Faye Travel Protection.

### 1/5 — Unresponsive to Claims Process (Unpaid Claim)

*2026-05-28, version 2.50.1*

I have used Faye for a few international trips in the past. I chose them because of the coverages offered, cost of the coverage, and positive feedback about claims handling. However, a claim that I submitted on August 10, 2025 has been under review since I submitted all required documents and signed all required paperwork on September 5, 2025. It is now May 28, 2026 and after myriad follow-up inquiries through the chat and email, I have received no status update or payout on my claim. This is a simple claim for lost personal property that is covered on my policy. Since this can’t be handled in a timely and professional manner, I don’t trust them for more significant claims.

### 1/5 — Fine, here’s your 1-star review.

*2026-05-22, version 2.49.0*

Months ago, I opted to delete my Faye account via the app. On initiating deletion, the app indicated: “We will queue a request to remove all eligible data from our systems to our support team. This action will immediately log you out from the application.”

I proceeded with the deletion. The app didn’t log me out. So I did it again. Same thing. I manually logged out. Months later, no confirmation has been sent to me from their support team indicating that deletion occurred. So I emailed their support team to inquire if my account was deleted. They promptly replied and said they’d look into it. (I don’t know how hard it is to simply validate if my account exists or not, but whatever.) Days later, I get a cryptic email from Faye’s privacy team stating that they will share my info with 3rd parties to fulfill their services, that they’ll use my personal info only when I ask, and that they’ll remove me from marketing lists. They linked me to their privacy policy. No mention of account deletion or data deletion. So yeah…This is what I’m told after I made an account/data deletion request. My read on their reply: they *didn’t* delete my account and the law allows them to trade my information to third parties and there’s nothing I can do about it. So I replied to their privacy team at the address which sent this email and received an automated email indicating that the email address was “deactivated.” I then emailed the support team to ask what’s going on and they haven’t replied yet after several days.

Even worse, I can’t independently validate whether my account was deleted because Faye uses a horrible UI pattern on their login: a unified “login / signup” interface that relies on password‑less authentication. You type your email, receive a one‑time code, and enter it to gain access. The problem is that this flow provides no way to confirm whether an existing account still exists.
- If an account already exists, the code logs you in and you can view your data.
- If the account *has been deleted*, the same code simply creates a *new* account automatically (which I obviously don’t want.)
I want to verify deletion without unintentionally recreating an account, but this unified UI pattern makes it impossible. The support team could answer this question for me if they wanted to, but thus far I’m being ghosted by them.

Do NOT use Faye if you value your privacy and want control over your own data.

### 1/5 — Do NOT use this company for travel insurance.

*2026-04-03, version 2.46.0*

My friend and I were on a trip together and both had our trip cancelled while we were in our layover city. We had the exact same trip and hotel rooms and everything. My friend was reimbursed for her hotel rooms and I was not. If we were on the exact same trip and had the exact same issues and the exact same insurance then Faye should have reimbursed me as well, but they are refusing to. I definitely do not recommend this app or company.

### 1/5 — Deceptive insurance with bad customer service

*2026-03-13, version 2.44.0*

Don’t trust their slogans and promises. They’ll do anything to avoid paying your claims. To this I now add that I’ve had 5 different interlocutors, none of whom even takes the time to read the previous messages in the chat, and I am always sent the same standardized messages.

### 1/5 — Deceptive insurance

*2026-03-04, version 2.43.0*

Don’t trust their slogans and promises. They’ll do anything to avoid paying you your claims.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — This company literally saved me.

*2026-08-24, version 2.56.0*

A few weeks ago, I was traveling in Thailand and broke two bones in my foot. Thanks to this company, I was saved from paying $13,000.00 (surgery and hospital stay) and got fast, incredible care from a really good hospital there. Indebted to Faye for their help to me. Thanks again, everyone at Faye.

### 5/5 — Trip Cancelled

*2026-08-11, version 2.55.1*

We had to cancel our trip, but fortunately we paid for anytime cancellation and the process was seamless. We received communication and our refund in a timely manner.

### 5/5 — Covered my expensive accident

*2026-08-06, version 2.55.0*

I had a serious incident after being bit by a rabid dog and Faye fully reimbursed me. It took like 3 months but I did receive the money from Faye and it was not a huge hassle after collecting the required documentation. You do have to pay out of pocket up front for the bills though

### 5/5 — Don’t Gamble don’t worry

*2026-08-02, version 2.54.0*

Food poisoning- it happens! A fall off a chair in the hotel room because the chair has wheels and the floor has lux tiles. The bathtub sides are too high to get in and out… these are just some of the scenarios that can send your vacation spiraling downward… stop the spin and get insurance!!!

### 5/5 — Northern Europe care free

*2026-07-15, version 2.53.0*

Faye takes away most of the unknown. You want that deep level of relaxation and confidence to enjoy vacation ? Faye was great security at a fantastic value .

### 5/5 — Safe Travels

*2026-07-10, version 2.53.0*

### 5/5 — Much More than Protection

*2026-07-09, version 2.53.0*

I got so much more than peace of mind that I was covered even I traveled to Europe! They were with me everyday of the trip, checking in, digesting different experiences. Beyond just an insurance company! Thanks

### 5/5 — Seniors abroad

*2026-07-07, version 2.53.0*

We are seniors, close to seventy years old who took a 17 day, five city tour-in Europe. It was a huge comfort to have a plan for emergencies, which we did not have to use. 😄

### 5/5 — Europe trip

*2026-06-15, version 2.51.0*

Plan prices were reasonable and the benefits were easy to understand. It was a huge load off my mind knowing I had credible coverage in the event of an emergency.

### 5/5 — Faye Travel Insurance App

*2026-06-09, version 2.50.1*

5 Stars to Faye, I downloaded this app and purchased travel insurance to cover a one month trip to Europe on the basis of a Friend’s recommendation. The app is well designed and intuitive to use. I made a minor claim based on a bike rental company that would not refund a prepaid reservation due to inclement weather conditions. The claim process was quick and easy via the app and I received a claim credit promptly. Will be using their travel insurance on future trips.
