If the phone is in a chest or jacket pocket then the journey will record, put the phone in your pocket then all bets are off and the app might connect but in all probability it will not. The controller will record the total distance but this requires the owner to connect the controller/bike to your laptop. ### 3/5 — Absturz der App *2026-04-27, version 2.4.0* Die App ist in Ordnung und bietet sinnvolle Möglichkeiten. Sie ist wirklich einfach und Übersichtlich aufgebaut. ABER, was ich nicht verstehe, warum gibt es kein Sync mit Apple Health. Warum nimmt man keine, wie auch immer an das Smartphone sendender HF-Sensor mit in die Riderstatisktik auf. Inklisiver Sync nach Apple Health oder Fitness. Warum wird das Always-on-Display von Apple nicht unterstützt? Some of that is solved, but not always. But the latest update has shrunk the typeface so small (except for the speed) that it is impossible to read while you are riding the bike. In fact, it’s pretty tough to read even when you aren’t riding. Please go back to the prior version so that we can read distance, calories, max speed, etc. ! ### 4/5 — Bildschirm drehen freigeben *2026-02-01* Es gibt leider keine Funktion den Bildschirm auf de App zu drehen. Hier muss man nach einer Fahrt oft in die „Systemdetails“ schauen, um den tatsächlichen Ladezustand zu sehen. Oder man schießt die App ab und startet neu… ### 3/5 — Gute App mit viel Luft nach oben *2025-07-01* Optisch ansprechende App mit durchdachtem Menü. Sehr gute Möglichkeiten sich den Motor anzupassen wie man es möchte. Leider auch oft Probleme mit der Verbindung. Die App will auf den Standort dauerhaft zugriff haben, kann aber zeitgleich nicht im Hintergrund laufen. Dir für den Nutzer interessanten Daten werden nur aufgezeichnet wenn man die App aktiv im Vordergrund hat. Navigiert man mit einer App im Vordergrund beendet FAZUA die Aufzeichnung. ### 4/5 — km-Anzeige nach Fortsetzung der Fahrt nach Pausieren wird nicht mehr aktualisiert (Version 2.3.1) *2025-06-15* Mach ich was falsch? Hatte den Eindruck das funktionierte in älteren Versionen ### 3/5 — Aufzeichnungen der Touren mangelhaft *2025-06-13* Beim Fahren und der Aktivierung der Aufzeichnung funktioniert diese mehr schlecht als recht, weil die Bluetooth Verbindung zum Handy ständig abreißt. Die gemessenen Entfernungen, Geschwindigkeiten pp. stellen bestenfalls Näherungswerte dar. Außerdem wird der Akku des Handys sehr schnell leergesogen. Für mich ist die Funktion nicht zu gebrauchen. Die Einstellmöglichkeiten der Radcharakeristeriken funktioniert. Deshalb gibt es drei Sterne. ### 2/5 — Gute Bedienung aber Fehler auf der Aufzeichnung *2025-05-24, version 2.3.1* Die Bedingung und das Design der App ist super. Jedoch ist es sehr schade, dass es bei der Aufzeichnung meiner Tour erhebliche Mängel bei der Kilometer Angabe gibt. Meine Feierabendrunde wurde nur mit 2 km aufgezeichnet, obwohl diese über 10 km hat. Sehr schade. Wäre super, wenn das behoben wird. ### 4/5 — Not Bad! There are so many things that could make it really useful app! ### 3/5 — Alles super bis zur ersten Pause *2025-04-13, version 2.3.0* Bis Kilometer 17 okay, dann keine Aufzeichnung mehr Die App funktioniert anfangs gut – das Tracking war bis zur ersten Pause zuverlässig. Danach blieb die Aufzeichnung jedoch bei Kilometer 17 einfach stehen, obwohl ich weiter unterwegs war. Sehr ärgerlich, vor allem bei längeren Touren. Bitte dringend beheben! ### 2/5 — Spyware? *2024-12-02, version 2.2.0* The functionality of this app is great with FAZUA drive bikes. Inexplicably, the app DOES NOT FUNCTION unless you allow it to track you at all times. Selecting “allow tracking while using app” will hobble the app so it does nothing. I suspect FAZUA is doing a side business selling your location data. There is no other reason to do this. ### 4/5 — Abbastanza bene *2024-11-23, version 2.2.0* App essenziale ma ben funzionante. Ich habe mein E-Bike nicht permanent neben mir stehen. Auch ist das Rad nicht die ganze Zeit eingeschaltet. Somit gibt es für mich keinen Grund 76 mal in 3 Tagen meinen Standort abzufragen wenn ich die App in dieser Zeit nur 6 mal benutze. Die App startet nicht wenn man die Standortfreigabe auf „bei Nutzung de App“ stehen hat. ### 1/5 — Tracking you always and everywhere *2025-07-09, version 2.3.1* This would be a pretty good app if it only tracked your location while you were on a bike ride with a fazua-powered bicycle. Unfortunately it tracks your location virtually at all times, including when the bike is not turned on, as well as when the app is not on. Creepy ### 1/5 — Immer noch Fehlerhaft… *2025-04-30, version 2.3.1* Die Aufzeichnung setzen immer noch aus. Wenn man stehen bleibt, und weder pause oder irgendetwas anderes drückt, zeichnet der Kilometerstand und die zurückgelegte Strecke nicht auf. Ist einfach nervig wenn man den ganzen Tag fährt und alles komplett fehlerhaft Aufzeichnet. Da ist die Applewatch selbst noch genauer. ### 1/5 — Big trouble with new version *2025-04-28, version 2.3.0* Since the last update by connecting my FAZUA Ride 60 bike to this app , I can’t use the ring control to wake up the bike after switching it Off. I connect to Fazua toolbox through USB cable , everything is detected as normal, live data shows that the ring ctrl is working (voltage change) but the display is staying off. The app is displaying speed but no assistance as the ring ctrl is off or stay white. ### 1/5 — Won’t work when no internet *2024-12-01, version 2.2.0* Won’t connect to bike when there is no internet! Makes no sense as you can’t update firmware over the air. Unable to connect my Apple Watch to know battery %. Fazua needs to hire the right people to do their software as well as hardware. On my 3rd ride 60 motor. :( ### 1/5 — Application intrusive sans raison *2024-11-19, version 2.2.0* La fonctionnalité d’enregistrement de parcours demande un accès COMPLET a la géolocalisation pour être activée et non pas uniquement lorsque l’app est active, comme TOUTES les autres applications d’enregistrement GPS (coucou strava). J’ai été régulièrement prevenu par mon iPhone que l’app utilise extremement régulièrement mes données de localisation en arrière plan sans que celle ci ne soit lancée, alors que je ne suis pas du tout avec mon velo. Je suis littéralement tracé par Fazua sans aucune raison. J’ai contacté Fazua a ce propos qui m’a indiqué vouloir régler ce soucis il y a quelques mois dans les prochaines mises a jour. Ce n’a jamais été fait. Je me pose de vraies question concernant l’utilisation de mes données personnelles et de géolocalisation. Je n’utilise donc pas cette fonctionnalité de l’application et ne conseillerais pas ce moteur à mes proches. Update apres la réponse de Fazua: Non, Apple ne demande pas a avoir accès aux données de localisations « TOUJOURS » pour pouvoir fonctionner. Il n’y a qu’a voir comment fonctionne waze, google maps, apple plans, Strava, Komoot….. et en plus, l’application regarde mes données de localisation alors que je ne fais pas de velo et que l’app est inactive… ### 1/5 — App verbindet sich nicht mit dem Fahrrad *2024-10-03, version 2.1.2* Habe alles versucht. Fahrrad ist mit dem iPhone verbunden, aber die App findet es nicht. Auch die Gesamtkilometer sind wieder in den System Details sichtbar (mit der neuesten Motor Firmware).
