### 1/5 — App will NOT OPEN

*2024-02-19*

App will not open

### 1/5 — Cannot open app again after first time

*2023-11-27, version 5.3*

After information is initially entered, if you exit and try and get back in, the app doesn’t open just shows logo. No way to enter additional information. Worthless.

### 3/5 — Please update

*2023-10-20, version 5.3*

I love this app and would love for you to update it! This is crazy, you open it and it closes right back!!!

### 1/5 — Frozen

*2023-09-10, version 5.3*

Worked once for me to fill out. Then went back a month later to update and it doesn’t get past the icon. Totally useless.

### 1/5 — Needs Work

*2023-07-02, version 5.2*

It worked great for a little while. I loaded a ton of information on my kids about a month ago, now the app crashed every time I try to open it.

### 3/5 — Please update

*2023-01-15, version 5.1*

I love this app and would love for you to update it!

### 2/5 — Good content, poor execution

*2022-12-23, version 5.1*

The content and layout is good but the app has functional issues. Uploading a picture (vertical format) and then selecting a closer crop mean poor picture quality that is then displayed in the app off center. Displaying and sharing a good picture of your child should be a top priority.

### 1/5 — Needs update

*2022-07-13, version 5.0*

Every time I go into the app, it does a quick force close.

### 1/5 — Where’d my child go

*2022-07-06, version 5.0*

Weeks after entering my childrens info into the app they have been abducted one after the other.

### 1/5 — Total scam

*2022-07-06, version 5.0*

Do not put information on this app. The data collected will 100% be abused. App is also owned a terrorist organization and one of the largest collectors of child porn. Keep your children's information away from these freaks.

### 1/5 — The app is broken.

*2022-06-12, version 5.0*

Only for the great idea I’m giving to this app one star, otherwise it would be a zero. Currently the application is useless: it doesn’t work for iPhones, it doesn’t work for Androids.

### 1/5 — Lockup

*2022-06-04, version 5.0*

This is 2nd time this app does not go past the logo on startup. Getting tired of deleting and reinstalling

### 2/5 — Needs an update

*2021-12-21*

This is a good app, but the developers need to keep up with it. Just tried to update child info, and upon trying to launch the app, it just force closes. So I deleted it, and did a reinstall; which seemed to work as it did open when I clicked on the new install, but of course I lost all the info I have on my child. So I re-entered the info and closed out and tried to relaunch, but just forced closed again. Please fix!!!! Also, allow us to create an account so we don’t loose kids details if app is deleted due to issues and then re-install.

### 2/5 — LOVE THE APP BUT…..

*2021-11-28, version 4.0*

I have actually had to use this application for my autistic child but now since I upgraded to the newest iPhone and even on my husband‘s iPhone 10 the app doesn’t open. PLEASE PLEASE update this app. We have a special needs child who is an elopement risk!!!!!

### 1/5 — Was a great app

*2021-08-01, version 4.0*

App does not work on my iPhone 12 Pro.

### 1/5 — It’s a Scam!

*2020-05-25, version 3.1*

I entered all of my children’s personal information and our names, home address, phone numbers. I entered a password I commonly use and when I went to get back into the app it won’t open.

### 3/5 — Needs an Update

*2020-04-12, version 3.1*

This is a great app and an even better idea! Works well on my iPhone. But it can’t use cloud pictures between devices and has stopped working on my iPad Pro gen3. This is the kind of thing the government should be doing, but I don’t think it’s had an update since Obama left.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-02-28, version 3.1*

Seems great idea but app won’t actually open

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unsafe link in app

*2024-08-16, version 6.0*

One of the links for missing kids is wrong. It’s a “.com” which gives me a warning that that website might be an impersonation. The actual missing kids website is a “.gov”. App is disappointing.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2024-08-07, version 5.3*

I’m not sure if it’s because of an update or a lack of updates but I’ve only been able to actually open the app one time. Every time since then you get the main opening screen and it goes no further than that.

### 1/5 — Won’t open

*2024-06-30, version 5.3*

Great idea but the app won’t open. you fill out the info and close the app and it will not reopen

### 1/5 — Won’t open

*2024-06-08, version 5.3*

I downloaded and put in all of my child’s information at the same time then an hour later went to open the app and it won’t open, just see the title page screen infinitely. Tried restarting my phone too. Nothing works.

### 1/5 — App not working

*2024-04-21, version 5.3*

App is not working. Freezes on iPhone.

### 1/5 — Tried to open

*2024-04-08, version 5.3*

It just sits there. Pretty worthless. I’m going to delete. My tinfoil hat makes me think this is just a way for the FBI to access our 📞.

### 1/5 — Needs better Attention

*2024-04-03, version 5.3*

Why not have a database where we can login as parents and keep this on file long term, ppl are constantly getting new phones, phones break, etc. Should be able to add the option of our children’s fingerprints as well. Maybe eyes scanned? Funny how I can skip the line in an airport with an eye scanner that can identify me but all you have for children are photos to be taken and no database to hold this info long term?

### 1/5 — App will NOT OPEN

*2024-03-29, version 5.3*

App will not open; CRASHES every time! Please UPDATE FBI???

### 1/5 — Please update this app!

*2024-03-06, version 5.3*

I loved this app but now it doesn’t work. It won’t even open properly so I can’t view or update my child’s information. In its current state, it is completely useless!

### 1/5 — Great idea but won’t open anymore

*2024-03-05, version 5.3*

I really like this idea and had it all filled out, then when I went to update it it won’t open anymore. Ugh. Please update this and put more effort into improving this app. The way it is now I don’t feel very confident that keeping our kids safe is a very high priority for thr FBI…

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — FBI CHILD ID

*2023-12-10, version 5.3*

Nice app to have for when children go missing. Easy to use.

### 5/5 — Ned help FBI Me Google Hacked people Los Angeles California

*2022-11-28, version 5.1*

Send

### 5/5 — Update idea

*2018-01-25, version 2.3.4*

A voiceprint would be a nice addition.

### 5/5 — Amazing App

*2016-05-26, version 2.2*

This is a great app the provides a needed service during tragic times in an emergency.

### 5/5 — Thank you Dr. Phil!

*2014-05-04, version 1.3*

Saw this on Dr. Phil, great download! So worth it, what an easy way to contribute to the safety of my child and help me be prepared in case of emergency.

### 5/5 — YES!

*2014-05-01, version 1.3*

Saw on Dr Phill just now. I seriously feel safe now when I'm outside (:

### 5/5 — 98% There

*2014-03-01, version 1.3*

Great concept and good execution. A couple suggestions:
In the photo section, you can alter the upload photo but then it reverts to the original form.
The photo section should allow multiple uploads.
When sending an email, you should be able to include photos.

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2012-06-15, version 1.3*

Thank you FBI.

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2012-05-24, version 1.3*

I know first hand how important those first hours are when someone is abducted. Having an app like this, where you don't have to take the time to stop and think because the info you need is a click away is going to help save lives.

### 5/5 — not a bad update

*2011-10-19*

It looks like they responded to at least a few of the user comments on the password protection and photo stuff. People are totally going to forget those passwords when their kids go missing. The info edit screen still needs some professional styling.
