It scans a card and does nothing at all. You tried and failed fda. I deserve to be grandfathered in; 18 year olds were allowed to buy alcohol after they changed the age to 21. ### 1/5 — It’s just wrong... *2019-12-30, version 1.6.0* They can’t even keep up with their own rules, yet they expect us to. It’s very simple and easy to use, but why stop there. Can’t they just show the age of the ID being scanned? It would be useful for alcohol sales as well. If FDA reads these reviews PLEASE consider just showing the age of the ID being scanned. ### 3/5 — Works fine lacking usefulness *2023-11-03, version 1.8.1* Needs: widgets for Home Screen, actions to go directly to the scan Once I have seen the message and accepted the warning I NEVER NEED TO SEE IT AGAIN!!!! need to be able to get to the camera to scan ID QUICKLY ### 2/5 — Not dependable *2019-07-10, version 1.6.0* This works great for basic ID check but the crooks are a step ahead. Used it for a clearly fake ID. The girls name ( no middle name ) was Viana beach. So many things I found wrong just with looking at it but it scanned she was 21. I figured I would check the other fake IDs I had confiscated and they all came up as legit. Kids that I had caught and told them this is a fake ID and apologized and begged me not to call the police the fake ID still scanned ok. Do not depend on this app ### 2/5 — New Iowa License *2019-02-06, version 1.5* This will not scan the new Iowa License. ### 2/5 — Won’t scan Military/Dependent/Retiree IDs *2018-11-26, version 1.5* Works great on drivers licenses, but it doesn’t recognize any Department of Defense ID cards. Would also be nice if it could tell you the expiration date too. ### 2/5 — Mediocre At Best *2017-08-13, version 1.0* First few times I tried it, the camera would just close without scanning then ID and would then go back to the main screen. Worked intermittently the next 5 times I tested it. I see in the settings that you should be able to change the age limit (19+ here in Utah), but it doesn't do anything when you try and click on it.
