Downloaded the app solely for the FTP server feature. It is so stupid that I have to connect to some wifi first before starting the FTP server. Why can’t I just start the server over mobile data, start the personal hotspot, and connect the second device to the hotspot to bring them in one network. Please add this functionality.

I use file explorers on multiple platforms.  FE Pro is one of the best on the IOS platform which is saying something because Apple does not make this task easy.

App is ok. Offers similar basic functions to other file browser apps but no jfif image support. If you work with various image file types i wouldn’t recommend

Application crashes often and whenever I connect to a server to run video it was saved temporary but the next time when I try to my again I will not be able to connect to the same server. I will have to delete the profile and recreate the profile and reconnect. This is too much work.

ホーム画面を1Pに収める整理整頓スッキリiPhoneを使い続けてる中で皆勤賞のAPP。なんなら1番使用頻度高いまである。同時期から使ってるiTunes Remoteと双璧をなす活躍っぷり。

自宅サーバーへのアクセスがバカっぱやで手放せな〜い。

iPadのほうはEF Fileと姉妹品のフクロウさんと使い分け。EF Fileで接続設定すると勝手にフクロウAPPに反映されてるの地味に便利。

あと純正の「ファイル」があれば他はもういいかな。

なんにでも繋がるしrawファイルまで平気で開いてくれるので不満は皆無。有料版ではあったけど、購入翌週くらいには元が取れていたはず。

実はフクロウさんのほうはaiファイルまで開くけど。

Loved the app but now hate the relocation of the video progress bar to the bottom. I wish we had the option to revert to the old layout. Does everything I need but this change completely throws me off.

This app does not allow for copying a file tree, you still have to manually enter each folder and select folder files, aka one step above useless.

The UI doesn’t act the way you’d expect based on other iOS apps. I’ve used this for years but the UI is so bad I’m amazed this was even approved

Edit: your little video player is awful. Why aren’t you using Apple’s controls? Double tapping on images also doesn’t work half the time as it recognizes it as two quick single taps. Literally no other iOS app I’ve ever used does this. I’m actually amazed you managed to code something this awful on an iPhone. Hopefully that clears up your concerns about how terrible your UI is. 

Let’s not forget about how the UI comes up simply if you rotate the device. Did I ask for that to happen, or did I simply want to rotate my orientation? Now I’m having to tap again for the garbage UI to disappear, and the timing of this also doesn’t line up with Apple’s systemwide standard. So frequently I tap while it’s actively going away, which means I have to tap AGAIN. The fact that you don’t know this makes me wonder if you even use your own app?

So to answer your question, what kind of UI do I like? A good one that functions as intended.

Features I’ve relied on, such as save photo to phone, have been removed with recent updates. Many things that were UI based are now hidden for a “cleaner” design, destroying the usability. Time to look for an alternative.

Update: Your moving the button to the share sheet is the problem, there’s more steps introduced for a feature that was originally not hidden in a menu.

Купил это приложение для обмена файлами между iPad и сервером HP-Proliant в локальной сети. Приложение автоматически находит сервер, но категорически отказывается с ним соединиться.
Прочитал ранние отзывы и понял, что приложение никчемное уже давно. Зря потратил деньги

My primary goal for this app was to transfer voice recordings (and other files) to my server without going through iCloud. I am happy to report success!

Figuring out HOW to transfer the files was not so easy.  Fortunately, FE’s customer support is excellent! I reported my problem and they got back to me in just a few days with instructions. (See response in this thread.)

I also figured out how to transfer files from server to iPhone (just copy the file into a folder on the server that FE is syncing), but only within FE’s sandbox. I still cannot sync back into native iPhone storage. This is clearly a result of iOS security architecture; no demerit for FE File Explorer.

**Developer response:** You have already had this feature. FE File Explorer Pro has share extension. Please share the voice recording in Voice Memos app, then tap "Save to FE File Explorer" on the share sheet for save to your server. If you cannot find it on the share sheet, please tap "Edit Actions..." and turn on the "FE File Explorer" option on share sheet. Please feel free to contact us (support@skyjos.com) if you still have problems.

Diese App ist für mich auf dem IPad extrem hilfreich. Filetransfer in alle möglichen Richtungen, Bilder, Audiofiles, Filme auf dem NAS, in der Nextcloud, auf der SD-Karte, auf dem Pad, ansehen, abspielen, weiterleiten, umbenennen, kopieren… Ich nutze sie seit Jahren. Immer mal wieder ein Update und das zu einen guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ohne wiederkehrende Kosten. 
Das Einzige was ich noch nicht verstanden habe ist die Ordnerstruktur auf dem Pad, wo finde ich was. Aber das ist eher ein Apple-Sandbox-Thema denke ich.

Обновляется, всегда стабильно работает. Очень радует возможность выбора копирования фото: оригинальный HEIC или автоконвертация в JPEG. Купил такое же приложение и на мак тоже, вменяемо работает с сетевыми хранилищами, в отличает от файндера

After the most recent update, using my Apple Watch or my CarPlay steering wheel buttons,I cannot move next or previous  between videos using CarPlay, or Apple Watch. I must only isr the previous and next buttons in the App. Other apps work properly with watch and car play.
