I wanted an overall dashboard of where I’m at financially, plus an easy way to monitor my monthly spending without all the data entry and categories to track. I did the initial income, expense and savings entry on the Fearless Finance website and got a clear report of where I’m at and what I should focus on for the coming year. The site connects with the app to set monthly goals and if you link your debit and credit card accounts, all you have to do is look at a progress bar for 2 key spending categories - automatically categorized for you- to know where you are during the month and whether you’re on budget or need to reign it in. It keeps me on track without being an additional burden on my time, meaning I’ll actually stick with it.
