### 5/5 — Great

*2025-08-18*

Ive been using the app for the past few days and I have no complaints. There is a spot on each picture that you can add in specifically what you ate and you can change the plate size multiplier. I also emailed in and they responded with a lot of information in less than 2 hours. Definitely would recommend and already have recommended to many of my friends. I don’t write reviews often but this app has so few that I feel like I have to.

Only thing I would say is I do not understand what you get with the pro version. Everything in free is amazing and I am interested in what the paid version has to offer

### 5/5 — Best ever

*2025-07-01*

Even if you don’t need to lose weight like I do this app is THE BEST for keeping track of your health. I wish I had found it years ago! Now it is helping me achieve my weigh loss goal. 114 pounds! Feast has made it doable.

### 5/5 — Best calorie tracker out there

*2025-06-20*

This is the only all I found that lets me track my meals for free. I love the little coaching too!

### 5/5 — Does what I need

*2025-06-05*

I wanted an app to track my macros. The picture function does a really good estimation, although I prefer to manually enter my meals to be more exact. There was an issue with my log communicating with my trends. I emailed the company and they responded within a day letting me know that they were working on the bug. They followed up a day later letting me know it had been fixed and a new update would be released shortly. Awesome customer service! Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-05-19, version 1.13*

This app is great !! Very simple to use, accurate and the food suggestions and advice are excellent, I have been using it for a month and it has improved my diet a lot .

### 5/5 — Great app! Some feedback

*2025-04-29*

I’ve been using this app for over a week and it has really helped me keep track of my meals. Some suggestions are: - the comments on each meal are don’t have to be all positive. I know I’m having junk food and I’d like to learn more about how it’s bad so I avoid it more. - The ability to look back on each day and see how many calories I had that day, like in a calendar format. Thank you for a great app!

### 5/5 — A must have in my health journey

*2025-04-19*

I love how easy this app makes it for me to track what I’m eating. It logs all of my essential details with a snap of a photo. It’s always difficult to track what I eat by manually logging it in an app and guessing its values but this lets me capture the nutritional details for every meal and snack with a click of a button. This app removes that intimidating first step and allows me to focus my time on eating better and becoming a healthier me. Definitely worth a try.

### 5/5 — Exactly what i want it to be!

*2025-04-10*

Great app! I tried so many apps looking for one that keeps track of protein, and all that say they do, require a subscription to actually do so.
Not this one! It is truly free, and so user friendly!

### 5/5 — Works well and free

*2025-04-05*

My friends and I use this app to track our protein. We love that it works with Apple Health, and love that it’s the only free app that lets you use photos to log food and snacks

### 5/5 — Love bringing Ai to my nutrition

*2025-03-07*

This is a great app to track everything. I appreciate how easy it is to use and I enjoy tracking everything and somehow it knows exactly what I’m eating 5*

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2025-02-20*

A true game changer for my calories/ macros tracking. I already take pictures of my food so uploading these and being able to track against my goals so easily is amazing. This gives me so much time back vs tracking manually.

Would pay a good amount for this, but the amazing thing is it's free!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — not entirely free

*2026-08-09, version 1.59*

you can only have 4 meals logged for free and then you have to pay. would prefer ads to a monthly subscription

### 1/5 — App is crashing all of a sudden

*2025-11-10*

Can’t even log into the app. Window opens where it scans my face to log into and then crashes and repeats over and over. Disappointed as I’ve been using the app for a couple weeks and was enjoying

**Developer response:** Fixed on version 1.33 which rolled out yesterday :) hope you continue enjoying the app!

### 3/5 — Not Free Per Reddit Post

*2026-05-20*

Wondering why it’s not free when you put in your Reddit post and app support about the free features.

**Developer response:** Thanks for giving Feast a shot! I’d love to share some context on pricing.

I’m a solo dev and funded operations for the first year (Feb’25 - Feb’26); every user who joined that year is grandfathered for life as a token of gratitude for their support.

Quite a few recent features (citations, live chat, custom banners, GPT 5.5 with priority processing) increased the cost envelope, and the $5/mo membership supports sustainable growth as users continue to onboard.

### 3/5 — Apple Sync not reliable for me

*2026-01-10*

I like the app but I have a few issues.
- Multiple redundant water entries end up in apple health. - Turning off water sync seems to disable sync for all items.
- Log again option appears to be only available for some entries.
- No option add from photo library.

**Developer response:** Thanks for enjoying the app! Please reach out to support, we’d love to help!

The Apple Health bug sounds frustrating. We haven’t seen this with other users but want to help resolve it.

The “log again” button appears on meals logged via text; we don’t support duplicating meals that originated via photo.

The icon at the bottom right of the camera tab allows adding from the photo library.

### 4/5 — Great app to help lower my LDL

*2026-04-23*

This is pretty neat using ai to analyze my food log through text or uploaded images. One feature I would like is if there could be a break down of the trends. Ex: 35 g of fat for Friday, what foods did I eat that day contributed to the trend for the day and what percentage did it contribute? Update: I appreciate the duplicate option for photos, but could we get that for manual entries? Also, if AI can analyze what I’m logging in almost every day to just input it for me for the future days

### 4/5 — Great app to help lower my LDL

*2026-03-06, version 1.42*

This is pretty neat using ai to analyze my food log through text or uploaded images. One feature I would like is if there could be a break down of the trends. Ex: 35 g of fat for Friday, what foods did I eat that day contributed to the trend for the day and what percentage did it contribute?

### 4/5 — Saving and reusing meals

*2025-10-20, version 1.27.2*

Would love to be able to reuse meals already analyzed and saved.
Unable to find “Log Again” in top right menu. Only ‘manage analysis’ and ‘delete’.

### 5/5 — Updated Review

*2026-05-24*

Wondering why it’s not free when you put in your Reddit post and app support about the free features.

Update - thanks for the response! That makes sense to me.

**Developer response:** Thanks for giving Feast a shot! I’d love to share some context on pricing.

### 5/5 — AMAZING app!

*2026-05-22*

AMAZING app! I have used it for a few weeks now and love how easily and quickly I can upload photos of my meals and get the estimated calories, breakdown of protein, fat, fiber, and carbs. The trend lines are helpful for me to see how close I am to meeting my goals (actual vs ideal). The changing fox image with my most current meals is also super cute. Lastly, I appreciate how quickly they take customer feedback to fix and update the app.

### 5/5 — Great simple to use app

*2026-04-19, version 1.46*

I’m totally in love with this app, it has given me a lot of knowledge about nutrition and it’s simple to use.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nutrition made easy and fun!

*2026-01-20*

I love how intuitive and user-friendly this app is. It’s like having a personal coach that provides the right knowledge at the right time. If you want an easy and fun way to build better habits and sustain your energy, this cute fox-themed app is the perfect buddy.

### 5/5 — Works Great

*2025-12-29*

Been trying to gain weight this app is easy to use and keeps me on track.

### 5/5 — A+++

*2025-12-29*

This app needs more attention and popularity! By far the most convenient nutrition tracker I have used. Great.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I’ve been looking for

*2025-11-03, version 1.30*

I’ve been using chatGPT to track my macros and fibre. It is super simple to upload an image and have it do all the logging for you but it falls short when you try to track anything long term. This app does just that! One feature that would be excellent to have would be the ability to customize the Trends screen and choose which macro and micro nutrients are important you. E.g. I’m also interested in cholesterol but that’s not currently available as a widget.

### 5/5 — My food helper

*2025-10-22*

Very easy to use, fun and healthy advices

### 5/5 — Genuinely a great app

*2025-10-21, version 1.27.2*

exactly what i’ve been looking for

### 5/5 — This is it.

*2025-09-07*

This is what I’ve longed for such a long time. Meal tracking is such a pain and I know that once you start logging your bad habits, You’ll see why you don’t loose weight or gain proper muscle. This does all the work for me.

Based on the Reddit updates, I can tell the developer actually cares.

While it’s not perfect but it’s a work in progress and I can see the potential and its growth, so that tells me this one is a keeper. I can’t wait for new features to come.

I will be subscribing to its pro version after giving it a full 10 days.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication. It does not go unnoticed.
