Der Abschluss Anfang November 2024 verlief auch entsprechend reibungslos. Im Leistungsfall zeigt sich jedoch die entscheidende Schwäche: Nach mehreren Monaten im Tarif ZAHN80 wurde mein Vertrag von der Versicherung angefochten und herabgestuft – mit der Begründung, ich hätte relevante Informationen verschwiegen. Die dokumentierten Fakten sprechen eine andere Sprache: Die konkrete Behandlungsplanung für ein Implantat (Zahn 36) erfolgte nachweislich erst nach Vertragsabschluss Mitte November 2024. Ein ausführlicher Widerspruch inklusive medizinischem Zeitverlauf und Patientenakten liegt vor. Trotz dieser klaren Sachlage hatte ich nicht den Eindruck, dass Feather im Klärungsprozess eine aktive oder durchsetzungsstarke Rolle übernimmt. Im Ergebnis steht man als Kunde alleine gegenüber der Versicherung. Wer sich für Feather entscheidet, sollte wissen: Der Einstieg ist einfach – die Unterstützung im Ernstfall jedoch begrenzt. Der Fall sollte intern eindeutig zuzuordnen sein. ### 1/5 — Stay away from the Dental insurance *2026-03-10, version 1.10* The app might have a nice user interface and they might offer English support but to what avail if not even a simple dental cleaning is not reimbursed.
