### 1/5 — Unprofessional Error update

*2026-08-07*

The new error message is unprofessional and not informative:

“Your device appears to have elevated privileges (root access)! For your safety can’t run this app…”

On an iPhone 16 running iOS 26.6, this message is confusing because the device is not jailbroken. If the app is blocking access due to a specific installed application or security policy, it should clearly identify which app is causing the issue and explain how to resolve it.

Many other banking and secure applications provide a clear reason for the restriction by naming the specific app or condition that triggered the security check. Displaying a generic “root access” message gives users no practical way to fix the problem and creates unnecessary confusion.

Please improve the error handling by providing accurate detection and a clear, actionable error message instead of a generic warning.

### 1/5 — 1★

*2026-07-29, version 4.1.0(26)*

1★
Extremely disappointing experience. The app stopped working completely after the iOS 26.6 update. As a business user, I rely on this app every day, and this issue has affected my operations. Waiting up to 10 days for a fix is unacceptable for a corporate banking application. Federal Bank should treat such issues with the highest priority and release a fix immediately.

### 1/5 — Urgently release an update!!

*2026-07-29*

I’ve been using FedCorp for a few months now. Ever since, I’ve never had an experience to term it as “extremely bad”. For my uses, it works fine.
Yesterday I updated my phone to the latest stable iOS version (26.6) and ever since, the app shows “Your device appears to have elevated privileges (root access). For your safety, this app can’t run on this device.” err(XX203). I have many transactions to make using UPI from this app and I can’t even access it after updating. Please resolve this issue immediately. 🙏

**Developer response:** Hi, our team is actively working on resolving the issue, and the reported concerns will be addressed in an upcoming update, which will be released shortly. We appreciate your patience and understanding. - Federal Bank

### 1/5 — App not working after iOS 26.6 ipdate

*2026-07-29*

After updating my iPhone to the public iOS 26.6 release, the FedCorp app no longer works and displays “Your device appears to have elevated privileges (root access) - ERR(XX203).” My iPhone is not jailbroken, has no Developer Mode or VPN, and all other banking apps work perfectly. I also checked my device and confirmed that no remote access apps are installed. This appears to be a false detection after the iOS update. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

**Developer response:** Hi, We regret that you did not have a positive experience with us. To help us better understand and resolve your concern, please email us at contact@federalbank.co.in with screen image. Our team will review and assist you promptly.

### 1/5 — App is not working

*2026-07-25*

I am unable to open the app. It is showing your divice appears to have elevated previleges ( Root Access) for your safety, the can’t run on your divice. One of the most worst bank app ever used. Your bank is not able to fix one small problem and making current account users life hell. I am not using any third party apps mentioned hy your bank but still unable to access the app. Such a worst bank never seen.

**Developer response:** "Dear Customer,
For security reasons, FedCorp will not function on devices where any remote support application is installed or detected. In addition to AnyDesk, this includes apps such as Zoho Assist, Splashtop SOS, ManageEngine MDM, ISL Light, GoTo Resolve, TeamViewer QuickSupport, and Getscreen.me.
These applications can enable third-party access to your device, which may pose a security risk. As a precaution, FedCorp will not function if any of these apps are detected.
We recommend uninstalling such apps while using FedCorp to ensure uninterrupted and secure banking. Your safety remains our top priority."

### 1/5 — App Not Working on iPhone, No Solution Yet

*2026-06-29*

I’ve been using FedCorp for making small QR payments and checking my account statements, but unfortunately the app has completely stopped working on my iPhone.

The app keeps showing that my device has an “unsecure” app installed, even though Apple Support has confirmed there’s no issue with my iPhone. What’s even more confusing is that all my other banking apps are working perfectly, including FedMobile from Federal Bank itself.

I also visited my bank branch and contacted customer support, but unfortunately no one was able to provide a solution. Because of this, even basic tasks like QR payments and viewing statements have become difficult.

I hope the development team looks into this issue seriously and releases a fix soon. A banking app should be reliable, especially when customers depend on it for daily transactions.

### 1/5 — VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

*2026-06-23, version 4.1.0(26)*

The Fedcrop application is a waste. I installed it on my phone, but it won't open and just shows an error. Can you resolve this complaint? What kind of banking is this? I opened a current account to use it, but I can only make transactions by opening it on a computer.

### 1/5 — Constant crashes & poor support

*2026-06-15*

I’ve been using the Fed Corp app for 4 years and it’s been a frustrating experience. The app crashes every time I try to transfer funds failing even with the correct credentials.

Customer support is basically non-existent — no reply to emails and the helpline just puts you on hold. For an app that’s supposed to handle important corporate tasks, it feels slow, buggy, and unreliable.

Had to switch back to the web portal. Hope they fix these issues soon, but until then I can’t

**Developer response:** Hi, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced while using our mobile app. To help resolve the issue quickly, we request you to please lodge a complaint via the Help & Support section in Fed Corp or you may email us at contact@federalbank.co.in from your registered mail id with all relevant details. Our dedicated team will assist you promptly. We truly appreciate your patience and assure you that we are continually working to enhance your banking experience. – Federal Bank

### 1/5 — No Use.

*2026-06-11, version 4.1.0(26)*

What is the use of this app? You can’t create your UPI id, without mobile data you can’t login. App is too slow. There are many problems that can’t be shared all.

### 1/5 — Worst Banking App

*2026-05-19, version 4.0.2(23)*

Worst Banking App. I have sent many messages before but the developer or responsible person did nothing to resolve. The reference number shown on the transaction completed screen is incorrect when comparing with reference number shown in the statement.

### 1/5 — Poor service

*2026-05-12, version 4.0.2(23)*

Very poor and slow service if doing scan payments then not be work seriously its very poor

### 1/5 — Slow App

*2026-05-07, version 4.0.2(23)*

App is very slow and proper testing not done before releasing- one bug - when we enter a wrong mpin and try to enter the correct mpin, it says similar txn not allowed for 10mins! This is one of the bug, second- there is a delay in the app to recognise the mpin when we enter, often misses one digit. Features to be thought thru from users perspective instead of adding it for sake of it.

### 1/5 — Cannot use the app after recent iOS update

*2026-08-14*

I cannot use the app after recent iOS update and i get the following message “ Your device appears to have elevated privileges (root access) . For your safety the app cannot run.” I Do not have any developer options enabled and this os a false alarm and i see many have posted same problem and there is no solution yet which is disgusting . A banking app cannot be down for so-many days which shows the carelessness of the bank and developers. I should not have gone with Federal bank.

### 1/5 — Fedcorp not opening in ios 26.6

*2026-08-14*

FedCorp App that started after I updated my iPhone to iOS 26.6 on 12th August 2026
Whenever I try to open the FedCorp App, ! receive the following error message:
"Your device appears to have elevated privileges (root access). For your safety, the app can't run on this device. Please exit from the app. err (XX203)"
I would like to clarify that my iPhone is running the official stable public release of ios 26.6 and is not a beta version. My device has not been jailbroken or modified in any way.
I am also using several other banking applications, including the Federal Bank mobile banking app, and all of them are functioning normally on the same device without any issues. This indicates that the problem is specific to the FedCorp App.
I have already contacted my branch and submitted a complaint through email regarding this issue. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced problems with the FedCorp App following an iOS update.
I am a Federal Bank Current Account holder, and I depend on the FedCorp App for my day-to-day business transactions. Due to this issue, my daily business operations are being severely affected, causing inconvenience and financial disruption.
I kindly request your technical team to investigate this issue on priority and provide a resolution or an updated version of the FedCorp App that is fully compatible with iOs 26.6.
I would appreciate your prompt response and do the needful .

### 1/5 — Complaint Regarding FedCorp App Issue I have been using Federal Bank’s FedCorp banking services for

*2026-08-12*

Complaint Regarding FedCorp App Issue

I have been using Federal Bank’s FedCorp banking services for my company’s business transactions. I am currently using an iPhone 17, but the FedCorp application is still showing an error stating that the device has “elevated privileges/root access” and therefore the app cannot run on the device.

This is seriously affecting my company’s day-to-day banking and business transactions. I have already tried to resolve the issue, but the problem still persists.

I am willing to wait two more days for Federal Bank to provide a proper solution and resolve this issue permanently. If the issue is not resolved within this time, I will have to seriously consider moving my company’s banking operations from Federal Bank to another bank.

I request you to treat this as a serious complaint and provide a proper technical solution at the earliest.

### 1/5 — Very frustrating experience with FedCorp

*2026-08-12*

Very frustrating experience with FedCorp

FedCorp is currently not working on my iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 26.6. The app displays:

“Your device appears to have elevated privileges (root access). For your safety, the app can’t run on this device. ERR(XX203)”

My iPhone is not jailbroken or rooted, yet the app is incorrectly detecting root access and completely preventing me from using my banking app.

This is extremely inconvenient and unacceptable for a banking application. Please fix this compatibility/security-detection issue urgently and release an update that works properly with iOS 26.6.

Federal Bank, please address ERR(XX203 immediately. Customers should not be locked out of their banking services because of a false security detection.

### 1/5 — ⭐ 1 Star – Very Poor Experience

*2026-08-12*

FedCorp is a very disappointing mobile banking app for current account customers.

On my iPhone 17 Pro Max, the app repeatedly shows:

“Your device appears to have elevated privilege (root access). For your safety the app cannot run on this device.”

My iPhone is not jailbroken or modified, yet the app blocks access to mobile banking.

The current account transaction facilities are very limited, and the app lacks modern banking features and a user-friendly interface.

For a modern business banking customer, FedCorp feels outdated, inconvenient and unreliable.

Federal Bank should urgently fix the false security detection and introduce modern, faster and feature-rich business banking facilities.

Very Poor App. Needs a major upgrade. 👎👎👎

### 1/5 — App not working in ios

*2026-08-11*

Its been more than 2 weeks still no solution from fed IT side in resolving the app functioning. I noticed a developer comment mentioning other apps name i don’t have any of those apps installed in my device still i couldn’t access the app. In these days, everyone updating the apps remotely only & its more common. Fed bank says we shouldn’t update the phone itself for using a single app does it makes sense?. I trust Fed will work on this issue and provide a permanent solution for the security glitches at their end.

### 1/5 — Not working on latest iPhone 17

*2026-08-10*

The app is saying my device is not safe and has root access !! I have been using on the same device for an year but nothing went wrong and my account is a big current account for which this app was easy to make payments and this is causing me soo much trouble! I don’t know why it’s doesn’t want to open! The developers need to really start taking up this seriously .

### 1/5 — App not working after update to 26.6

*2026-08-09*

I have tried all the possible ways to get the app work but its not working. All my payments for my business goes through this. This issue should be resolved as soon as possible or I am closing federal bank account and taking another account in any other bank. There are no apps which are running which is mentioned by the federal bank developer. Still it does not work. There should be an update done by the fedcorp team to get this sorted soon.

### 5/5 — App not after iOS update

*2026-07-29*

I am currently facing a serious issue with the FedCorp App after updating my iPhone to iOS 26.6. The issue started on 28 July 2026, immediately after the iOS update.

Whenever I try to open the FedCorp App, I receive the following error:

“Your device appears to have elevated privileges (root access). For your safety, the app can't run on this device. Please exit from the app. err(XX203)”

I would like to clarify that iOS 26.6 is a stable public release and not a beta version. I am also using several other banking applications, including the Federal Bank regular banking app, and all of them are working normally on the same iPhone without any issues.

I have already contacted my branch and raised a complaint through email regarding this issue. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced problems with the FedCorp App after an iOS update.

It appears that the app's security or backend compatibility needs to be reviewed and updated to properly support the latest iOS version. A false detection of “root access” on a normal, non-jailbroken iPhone is preventing me from accessing the application.

This issue is having a significant impact on my business and daily banking activities. Banking applications should be tested and made compatible with officially released iOS updates before or immediately after the update becomes available.

I kindly request the FedCorp technical/backend team to investigate error XX203 urgently, release a compatible app update, and resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Please treat this as a priority issue, as it is directly affecting business operations.

**Developer response:** Hi, our team is actively working on resolving the issue, and the reported concerns will be addressed in an upcoming update, which will be released shortly. We appreciate your patience and understanding. - Federal Bank
