## What is FedVest?

FedVest is a budgeting and retirement app built around a federal paycheck. Track your accounts and spending, plan each month around your paydays and bills, and see how your pension, TSP and Social Security add up, with the same calculation engine as the FedVest desktop app.

BUDGET AROUND YOUR PAYCHECK
• Connect bank and card accounts through Plaid, or add accounts and transactions by hand
• Money left this month: income minus bills, budgets and other spending, with a daily pace
• Monthly plans with carryover and moves between categories
• Bills with reminders, partial payments and automatic payment matching, plus suggested bills found in your history
• Paycheck income streams that compare expected and received paydays
• Split transactions, transfers between accounts, merchant rules, and CSV import and export
• Savings goals with a monthly pace
• Net worth saved each day you open the app, with trends and a cash-flow forecast

YOUR FEDERAL RETIREMENT PICTURE
• FERS pension estimate from your service, High-3 and retirement date, including the FERS supplement and survivor election
• TSP projection, and a TSP balance that follows the published fund prices
• Social Security and other income measured against your monthly income goal
• Retirement eligibility dates and federal milestones on a calendar
• FEHB plan premiums for 2026 and 2027, with an Open Season countdown

Retirement estimates work without a subscription. Every other page and saving records need FedVest Pro. Bank connections need FedVest Pro and an email.

PRIVACY
• Your records are stored on this device, locked behind Face ID or your passcode, and excluded from device backups
• Export an encrypted backup to Files, protected by a code that only you see
• No ads and no tracking

FEDVEST PRO
FedVest Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, billed yearly or monthly. It opens every page of the app. Adding an email is optional. It lets you connect banks and use FedVest Pro in the FedVest desktop app. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-28

Various bug fixes.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-26

Social Security, claimed by the month
Your plan now starts Social Security at your own full retirement age instead of 67, and you can set the claim age to the month, such as 66 and 10 months. If you were born between 1943 and 1959 and never set a claim age, your Social Security estimate may be lower than before, because it no longer assumes you wait until 67.

New dates on your calendar
• Medicare General Enrollment (Jan 1 to Mar 31) and the Medicare Advantage and Part D election period (Oct 15 to Dec 7)
• The last day to schedule use-or-lose annual leave (Nov 28, 2026)

Fixes
• The add button on Plans & bills no longer flickers when you switch sections
• The retirement income heading shows the full claim age at large text sizes

### 1.1 — 2026-10-23

### 1.0 — 2026-10-23
