### 2/5 — Better to have no problems with it

*2026-06-12*

Never got any reply when I mailed bugs. I don‘t know whether they are or will be fixed. Or even it was my or feedbin‘s fault. The developer (I pay monthly) never answered… not even a „we fix it“ PS: I‘m customer since 2013.

### 2/5 — Just use the website

*2024-07-08*

Feedbin is a good service, but the iOS app needs work. Regions of the screen frequently go blank, to the point where the app is nearly unusable without frequently exiting and restarting it. I get a better experience using the website instead.

### 2/5 — Unreliable app

*2023-05-07*

As a service Feedbin is fine, and I have no problem accessing it through a browser. The iPad app is unreliable and rare.y shows all of my feeds. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but this doesn’t help. No response from support. Disappointed.

### 2/5 — Expensive Sub

*2023-02-02*

Hard pass

### 4/5 — More updates

*2022-05-22*

The pinnacle of RSS services, thankful that the official App got updated, but keep the updates coming please

### 3/5 — Won’t use Apple’s password generation feature

*2022-05-01*

I made a complex password with Apple’s automatic password generation feature, and this app rejected my attempt to create an account. The app came highly recommended from a co-host of “Under the Radar”, _DavidSmith. It’s probably a great app, but it made it too hard to create an account.

### 4/5 — Loggt sich automatisch aus

*2022-01-17*

### 3/5 — Icon update

*2021-11-06*

I know you have a TestFlight version out with new icon. Why can’t you update the icon in the app, it about a year now, come on guys

### 4/5 — We want updates 😉

*2021-05-30*

The application is pretty good and it‘s never a problem having all your feeds in sight. But there are also some problems which are currently not addressed:
- When opening the App on iPad Air (2020), closing it and opening it later again, the head bar is invisible.
- I cannot see newsletter options for e.g. emails. Where can I see my feedbin email without using the webpage?
But worths every dollar / euro / yen / pound / …

### 3/5 — Automatic dark mode?

*2020-10-13*

It works on the mobile site, why not here? 😢

### 2/5 — Aucune notification... (Edit : 29.07.2020)

*2020-07-29, version 1.0.1*

Ou sont les notifications (Badge sur l’icône) ?
Impossible de savoir combien d’articles sont en attentes sans devoir ouvrir l’application...

Est-ce corrigé ?

### 4/5 — amazing potential

*2020-07-14*

This app has amazing potential. I switched over from Feedly and I’m glad I did. The interface is clean, the ability to bring in my newsletters is terrific, and I like checking out Twitter as well. The issue I found is that Feedbin IOS crashes once a day. The app tries to open the newsletter or a link and then it goes white screen and won’t restart until I uninstall and reinstall. I hope the developers fix this soon. It’s a very good app but for this problem.

### 4/5 — Good Start, Needs More

*2020-02-18*

Great start, but needs more. Needs an offline reading mode (for airplanes), and a way to view saved stories from feeds to which you no longer subscribe.

### 4/5 — Dark mode please!

*2020-02-04*

Love the app it's quite fast and has an attractive design. All I can ask for is a dark mode & built in native Feedbin Notifier integration

### 2/5 — Meh

*2019-12-18*

It’s a webview wrapped in an app. There are plenty of excellent feed readers that sync with Feedbin. There’s no reason to use this app other than the “Send to Feedbin” sharing extension, which only works from Safari and no other share sheets. So it mostly fails for the only purpose it has. Just meh.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-05-27*

You pasting rss url and nothing happens.
So it doesn’t work at all.

### 1/5 — Update your app!

*2023-10-15*

$60 a year for an app that hasn’t been updated in a year? Really???

### 1/5 — No support

*2023-05-05*

Paying customer. Sent a support email a week ago. No response.

Unacceptable.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-12-24*

Downloaded and tried to add feeds. Each attempt came back with “not found”. Are you kidding me? Phillies, Eagles?? Not found? And you think you’re deservant of a monthly subscription for this garbage? LOL
DELETED

### 1/5 — If Feedbin were a sandwich…

*2022-03-27*

This app would be the soggy lettuce

It’s *fine*, but, doesn’t support most features of other RSS readers (including offline) or really even Feedbin’s best features.

### 1/5 — Paid app, no way to register, not described

*2021-03-14*

Don’t bother. You won’t be able to use it.

There is an empty login screen without a method to register. If you don’t have an account it’s completely pointless. Other reviews point to having a paid account registered somewhere else.

Poor developers can’t even bother to put in a real description to let you know. I don’t know if this I’d deceptive but if you are in an App Store to be discovered, then you could at least let people know what to expect.

### 1/5 — Not working like the screenshots

*2021-02-15*

Installed the app, logged into my Feedbin account, and the app experience does not work properly... no share icon on articles, making it useless.

### 1/5 — Useless on iOS

*2020-10-24*

Nowhere does it state you need an existing paid account to use this. Upon downloading and opening you are greeted with an unskippable login screen with no way to register an account. This will put off almost everyone who downloads this. The few that search online will find they need to enter credit card information and pay a company most people never heard for the privilege to access content that is free by just going to the sources website or using one of the other thousands of free RSS readers.

### 1/5 — Know before you download!

*2020-10-12*

You get no more than one sentence for the description. Really?

Let me get to the point first. This is an online service which requires an online account. Can't even find a "sign up" button to create a new account in the app.

And according to the website, it's a paid service. $5 a month. I'm glad I found this out before I gave any information (via account creation) to a service that's new to me.

This is not a great way to get new users. I haven't tried the app, so I can't even do the job of the description for the devs by showing the features.

Leaving it to users to figure out that they have to go to the website to see the features is not the way to go either.

### 1/5 — Deceptive! Bait and Switch!

*2020-03-01*

This is a paid service app! Nowhere on the app page does it states that you have to pay for a service in order to use the app. I found out after I downloaded the app and opened it, which took me to a login screen without an option to register. I then went to the developer’s website and found that you have to pay for the service. They do offer a trial, however, it should have stated this on the app page in the App Store.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best reader of the bunch

*2023-03-28*

I’ve tried EVERY reader app and website on the market, and was even a loyal feedly user for years. Feedbin is clean, fast and by far the best user experience.

I love supporting independent developers and would gladly pay $5 for a service like this. This is what the internet SHOULD be.

### 5/5 — Feedbin is the best RSS reader

*2021-01-31*

Thank you for a native app, non others match the functionality Feedbin provides. I wish it had dark mode support like the PWA.

### 5/5 — Muy buena lectura de RSS

*2020-03-25, version 1.0*

Todo lo que deseo.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2019-10-02*

I’ve started to use this over any other third party reader. It’s super fast and gets the job done. Any chance we can get dark mode support on iOS 13?

### 5/5 — Really great if you love the web app

*2019-08-25*

I love the consistency with the web app, including keeping the share sheet the same. That allows me to post links quickly to Micro.blog without leaving the Feedbin. I’m finding myself parsing through my starred items pretty quickly.

I did find a bug when you post to Pinboard from the iPhone, the post then gets cut of at the top. You have to restart the app to get the posts to appear normally again. The same functionality works on the iPad.

### 5/5 — YES, YES AND YES

*2019-08-23, version 1.0*

I discovered Feedbin this afternoon. I am going to pay.

- The Twitter integration works great and shows a different UI similar to the actual experience. WELL DONE!

- Typography and UI are excellent. The line height, news with images look great, themes.

- Subscribing to newsletters is a great feature.

I’ve tried every rss service since GR died and today you made me happy.

I don’t need reeder, lire or services to get tweets. It just works.

The only thing I would like to see is Mark as read on scroll. For me it’s a must!

Hopefully I will be implemented.

Let me know how I can help, giving feedback, helping with design etc.

Congrats!

### 5/5 — Super Light, Super Fast

*2019-08-21*

A refreshingly small app download with a nice interface that matches the website.

Perfect!

### 5/5 — Best RSS reader ever!

*2019-08-19, version 1.0*

The best features, the best clean design, the best reliability, for an affordable price. Feedbin is my RSS partner of choice since.. a long time and it will not change.

### 5/5 — Top. Habe Beta schon lange genutzt.

*2019-08-19*

Gute & schnelle Feedbin-Nutzung als App.

### 4/5 — Good app please add display settings

*2026-01-17*

Please add a setting to enable “dark mode” all of the time
