You hit the X to close them only to have them come back continuously, too the point you cannot read the selected article. The solution seems to be to forward articles to your email so you can open it in a better browser. ### 4/5 — The best RSS app, but… *2022-09-27, version 5.2* Have been using for years, found nothing better. I wish the internal browser worked better with bookmarking apps like Simplepin. I have to open the page in Safari, then bookmark. When I try to submit a request, I get an error that “my email is not set up”. Highly recommend. ### 5/5 — Update: Not Dead (again), after, Not dead, after all *2020-10-07, version 5.1* Update 2020.10.07: After spending the Summer trying to find an adequate replacement for FeedlerPro and its highly efficient management of RSS consumption, I was shocked to see an update after years of not hearing a peep from the dev. And the update(s) have finally addressed the most glaringly broken features I rely on. In short, the best RSS feeds manager is back, baby. Now I’m off to stuff the tip jar, and I strongly encourage anyone who’s hung n there for over two years of radio silence to do the same. My Thanks to the dev. -—-—- A quiet follow up release a day or so ago seems to have silently fixed a slew of nagging bugs that cropped up this Summer. However, several remain and the app remains in desperate need of feature love to take advantage of APIs and functions available since iOS 10, 11, and now 12. One touch and boom, reader view. It’s smooth and stable so far and has breathed new life into one of the few apps I use every single day. Love it! Kudos and thanks for the continued development of this great RSS reader. ### 5/5 — Best RSS Reader *2020-09-23, version 5.0* I've been using it for years and although the updates are few and far between, the developer tries hard to fix bugs when new iOS releases come out. There's no really and new features that need to be added, it's perfect already. For the past year or so, none of the view options except "Full Articles on Web" worked. This update fixes the issue that prevented full text to be displayed - and even adds a workaround to sites that don't include the full text in the RSS feed anymore (in order to make you visit the full site to show ads) - when the "Full Text" option is selected now, the app will open the Safari View Controller with Reader View enabled. This is a clever, clever way to show the full article text without viewing the whole website or leaving the app. This is a great app that has been supported for years, and I would gladly pay a small annual fee ($20 or less) for a version that includes more frequent bug fixes. I would love to support this amazing developer more than just the one-time purchase price I paid years and years and years ago. ### 2/5 — Poor Font Design on the Update *2020-09-23, version 5.0* I’m fine with the new native dark mode. However, the text is an odd shade of slate gray and very hard to read. If you’re going to use a black background then use a white font. I’ve used your app for years and I love it, but if this doesn’t change soon I will find another app. I’m not going to strain my eyes to read anything. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — :-( *2025-06-02, version 5.2* Not working. Ridiculous and seemingly random 20–30 character (numerals and letters) strings generated for folder names. CANNOT edit. Likewise, can NOT organize feeds by putting into folders. Etc. This app is broken. Better options are available. ### 1/5 — Terrible (No) Support *2022-07-27, version 5.2* I’ve sent at least four emails reporting what I believe to be a bug. It had to do with removing the stars from starred items. When you remove a star and leave the app then come back in, the starred entries that were removed are still there. I’ve heard nothing from the developer for over six weeks. Judging by the activity in history, It appears he’s not updating the app anymore. He was certainly quick to take the money for the app, though. I would stay away from this app and “developer”. ### 1/5 — How to export rss links *2021-08-15* Disappointed that there is no feature to export all batch rss link as text or opml. App hasn’t been updated in years and no longer works on text mode. Also inserts ads into every other paragraph when viewing articles as web pages. ### 1/5 — One Star: BIG Flaw *2019-08-03, version 4.3* The would be a perfectly ok reader but for the fact that the Full Text function doesn’t work. At all. Clicking it merely returns a “(null)”. Perhaps there are some feeds that the function works with, but I haven’t found any. ### 1/5 — Jump glitch is fixed. Great team response. Great app *2019-07-02, version 4.3* Updated 7/2/19 (from 5 stars to 1): This company has just gone dark. App is apparently no longer serviced and servers shut down. My news articles stopped displaying properly for a few weeks so I sent an email for help several days ago. I never received any response. Not even an automated one. Then, today, the app completely stopped working. It doesn’t get any data from the internet. Server seems to no longer be working. Update 11/14/17 They fixed the jumping glitch. Fantastic. All is well in one of my favorite apps FeeddlerPro. —————- This is a great app. I use it everyday. But after their latest update (for iPhone X), the screen now jumps when I scroll the news up to read. This is very annoying. Please keep the scrolling stable as it was before.
