### 2/5 — Feels unfinished, needs improvement

*2026-03-25*

Good looking interface but there are issues. Shouldn’t have to give an email/make an account to use in free mode, cloud storage of feed should be opt in. Also no mechanism to delete account in the app. It’s not clear what the subscription gets you/what you don’t get without it, other than the every minute updates with the highest tier. The restriction on how soon the feed can update makes the app pretty worthless at least on the free tier, and $100 a year is an insane amount to pay for an RSS reader. It’d make more sense to have the subscription for quicker background feed updates/notifications but allow unlimited in app feed updates.

### 2/5 — Impossible to setup from app

*2025-09-29*

I read that this this was great for a “simple” RSS feed app. But all the instructions are for the website and you can setup any feeds via the app. Useless unless you’re going to setup everything first from a desktop or laptop computer.

### 4/5 — iOS 26 back gesture

*2025-09-26*

Please add the iOS 26 gesture that allows you to swipe right in the middle of the screen to go back a page. This would be useful when I am reading an article and want to get back to the list of posts.

### 4/5 — No push notifications

*2025-09-22, version 5.2.3*

You need to open app and check so is useless

### 4/5 — Looks good …one issue

*2025-08-24, version 5.2.3*

Within the feeder app, when you click on a link(YouTube video) the video starts playing, but there’s an option to open the app….. that’s not working at least for me….. actually that’s not true. It just takes about 20 seconds to open. But then it goes to the YouTube in the App Store… You click on open and it works fine.

Just a little awkward

### 1/5 — Need account to sign up

*2024-11-18*

Surely requiring an account to sign up means this developer is collecting data not listed in their stated privacy.

**Developer response:** Hello! That's not true, and you don't need to do that. You can use Feeder without creating an account.

### 1/5 — Bad support & financial scam

*2024-09-02*

Very bad support. They may not answer your emails for weeks!
But the worst thing happened when the platform increased my tariff without warning. I had a payment for a year, and the next year for some reason the platform moved me to the highest tariff plan. This is just a scam. I do not recommend.

### 1/5 — Waste of MB

*2024-05-31, version 5.2.3*

App crashes as soon as I try to use it.

### 1/5 — Not renewing

*2024-03-20*

App is garbage. Needs:

1. Download full text. I use rss just like everyone else to get away from web pages with ads. 2. Mark read on scroll. 3. Rules do not propagate over generated RSS links. 4. Open native app when clicking links. When I click a Twitter link we’d like the Twitter app to open instead of a browser! 5. BUG: in the IOS app, when adding a feed the pop- up window to add the feed is 4 inches to the right of the phone screen.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! We’ll definitely consider these suggestions and aim to fix the bugs as fast as possible.

### 3/5 — Not exactly what I was expecting.

*2024-03-16*

I already use Inoreader for any rss feed reading. I thought freeder would be a better option because it’s an open source platform. But it was so many flaws that I can’t recommend anyone. I used Inoreaders website read latter option in the browser to use that as a pocket (app) replacement. So all my reading interests are in one place. And Inoreader also has free unlimited number of article reading feature available which is behind the pay wall for feeder which is also a major dealbreaker for me. The web extension does do anything but bring you to the feeder website.
I mention so many apps in here just to say there are other better options. But feeder has all the social feed following for free and has a google alert for free which is way even if I hate it I will keep using as a side app.

**Developer response:** Hello there! Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you didn't like our product that much. It really depends on what you're looking to achieve whether you appreciate it or not, we would say. If you have more feedback or ideas on how we could make Feeder better, you're welcome to contact us at support@feeder.co. Have a great day!

### 1/5 — You keep breaking things

*2026-06-28*

My guy, I don’t know what is so hard about this. You finally fixed the sticky scrolling velocity after like 3 or 4 months, but now when I click the “Read More” button at the end of a post it switches to my default Safari iOS browser instead of so to in the Feeder app. Why do you keep changing existing functionality? Why do you keep breaking things that were working? You had a perfectly functioning app and are mucking it up. This app was best when you didn’t make any updates.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! We're looking into this and will hopefully get it back to the normal scroll speed as soon as possible.

### 1/5 — Scroll velocity is too sticky

*2026-06-19, version 5.3.2*

Can you PLEASE give us the normal scroll velocity and acceleration/deceleration? Literally just use the iOS default scrolling speed.

### 1/5 — The focus becomes random as scrolling the list after the update

*2026-05-27, version 5.3.2*

The focus becomes random as scrolling the list after the update

### 1/5 — Scroll velocity feels weird

*2026-05-01, version 5.3.1*

A few weeks ago I noticed the app’s scroll velocity was strange. It’s very sticky as of now. Previously, it felt fluid and smooth like the rest of iOS. Whatever change you made to the scrolling sucks. Revert it.

### 1/5 — New update needs fixing

*2026-04-29*

New update breaks the app, can’t mark more than five or so articles as read before functionality breaks, and swiping to mark as read only sends you into the “starred” section

**Developer response:** Hello! We have released a new version 5.3.1 that should fix the "can't more more than five articles as read before functionality breaks" bug. Can you check again and let us know? Also, we're looking into the swipe issue. Thanks for your patience here!

### 1/5 — App is crushing??

*2026-04-03*

Do you have any tips on why the app is crushing on all phones once I login?

**Developer response:** Hi! Really sorry about this. If the app keeps crashing, please contact support@feeder.co and we'l investigate.

### 1/5 — Stopped Syncing

*2025-09-15, version 5.2.3*

Reddit feeds stopped syncing the last few days.

### 1/5 — Pub

*2025-06-19*

### 1/5 — Stopped Syncing

*2025-06-07, version 5.2.3*

Reddit feeds stopped syncing this week.

### 1/5 — useless

*2025-05-12*

created an account using apple login. head to the website and the only option they offer is google.. how am i supposed to login then? absolutely terrible

**Developer response:** Hello! We didn't appreciate that Apple forced us to add Apple login just because we also had Google sign-in. But you can of course log in with Apple. Here's a link: https://feeder.co/login?apple

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-04-30, version 5.3.1*

Thanks for fixing bugs so quickly. This is one of my essential apps to keep me informed.

### 5/5 — Great Except For One Gaping Flaw

*2025-08-12*

This app has helped so much with keeping up with media, an absolute game changer! However I do have one issue with the app. If I go into the folder settings and then hit close, my folder and all of its contents inside get deleted. Why does this happen? There’s even a dedicated “Delete Folder” button that I never pressed, and yet the folders keep disappearing every time I close a folder’s settings menu. I hope an update can address this issue.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-05-07, version 5.2.3*

The search for feeds capability is best to none.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2024-09-25, version 5.2.3*

### 5/5 — Update on my previous review

*2023-04-19*

I contacted the feeder customer service regarding rss link issue. They immediately sort this issue. It was truly a misunderstanding. This is best RSS app I ever used. Pls try to add integration with discord or webhook in the future.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review, it means a lot! I will share your request with the team.
