## What is Feedler?

Feedler is the smart RSS reader: follow the sites you love and read full articles in a clean reading view, even offline, with zero tracking, on iPhone, iPhone Duo, iPad and Mac.

TRENDING STORIES
When several of your feeds cover the same news, Feedler gathers every take into one story - sources stacked, one headline, every angle a tap away. Built from your feeds only, by a smart on-device algorithm: no editor, no hidden ranking, no AI required, and no reading data is sent to Feedler.

THE WHOLE ARTICLE, CLEAN
At Feedler's heart is a unique in-house article extractor, refined across a wide range of publications. It pulls the full article from almost any site: no clutter, no half-loaded pages. Galleries become tidy grids or an elegant stack of cards with a fullscreen carousel, YouTube plays inline in a native player, and posts from X, Bluesky and Instagram render as real, readable embeds. If a site misbehaves, you can fix it yourself using anything from a simple text selection to a full per-feed panel.

AI ONLY WHERE IT HELPS
Tap for an on-device AI summary of any article or of a whole story before deciding to read it in full. Prefer to listen? Built-in text-to-speech reads any piece aloud. All optional, all private: summaries run entirely on your device with Apple Intelligence.

READING, EXACTLY YOUR WAY
Fonts, size, spacing, column width: the reading view is fully yours. Go further with exclusive visual-assistance modes (anchors, soft bold, progressive fading) that gently guide your eyes through the text. All native, smooth at up to 120 Hz.

YOUR LIBRARY, BEAUTIFULLY KEPT
Keep accounts side by side, organize feeds into categories, and let Feedler choose a clean icon for each feed. Lay out your lists with no, medium or large thumbnails, and search the open list as you type. Open any feed for its own card: reading activity, publishing stats, per-feed settings.

GREAT FEEDS, FOUND FOR YOU
New to RSS, or hunting for something good? Feeds Discover opens to a hand-curated catalog: themed Feedler Packs and feeds by topic, in several languages, each with a short description and its publishing frequency. Add a feed or a whole pack in a tap.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No Feedler account required, no tracking, no ads. Feedler has no server of its own and doesn't collect your reading activity.

READS ANYWHERE
True offline mode: articles and images are cached on device, and smart caching pre-loads what you're most likely to read. Your accounts and settings are backed up to your private iCloud account: a new device brings your whole setup back.

BRING EVERY ACCOUNT
On-device Local RSS, private iCloud sync across your devices, or your favorite service: Feedbin, Inoreader, NewsBlur, FreshRSS, Miniflux, BazQux, The Old Reader and more. You can even run several accounts of the same service, side by side.

NO LOCK-IN, EVER
Export your feeds anytime with OPML, even on the free tier, and import them from anywhere with Feedler Unlimited. Your list stays yours.

EVERY READING FEATURE, FREE. UNLIMITED WHEN YOU'RE READY
Every reading feature is free, with up to five feeds: the full Reader View, Trending Stories, galleries, AI summaries, complete customization. Feedler Unlimited lifts the limits: unlimited feeds, sync services, iCloud sync, OPML import. Choose monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan and Family Sharing. If a subscription ever lapses, nothing is deleted and nothing is locked away: extra feeds simply pause, everything stays readable.

### 5/5 — Great so far…

*2026-10-30*

I’ve been using other RSS readers and have run into issues. This one has been really great, minimal issues, and the UI is next level. Really clean. Keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Cool Features

*2026-10-30*

I’ve been waiting forever for an RSS reader that helps me deal with multiple sources reporting on the same story. The Trending Stories feature allows me to swipe to remove all of these at once. The custom parser looks like a good feature for power users, but I have yet to check it out. This app works well and looks promising. I hope new feature development continues!

### 5/5 — A new and fantastic home for RSS feeds

*2026-10-29*

Escaping from social media toxicity and noise is a lot easier with RSS feeds. As a long term user of apps like NetNewsWire, Google Reader (RIP), and Reeder, stumbling across Feedler has been a godsend.

It has the design simplicity of Reeder but with a host of helpful additions - some game changing (parser customisations that let you filter out unwanted feed elements or images), some cosmetic customisations that make reading that bit more enjoyable (customising feed icons, per feed settings). I don’t use the AI summary features but those are hard to escape from in most apps these days.

I’ve been on the TestFlight beta for some time and there’s been a constant stream of new features and improvements, so I’m now to switch my main RSS app to Feedler and look forward to what’s coming next.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.9 — 2026-10-30

IPHONE DUO
• Feedler now works on iPhone Duo: folded, unfolded and half open like a book.
• Folded, the controls sit in the side toolbar iOS shows, within reach of your thumb.
• Unfolded, the list and the article sit side by side, and in landscape the article's text stays clear of the fold.
• Fold or unfold and you stay where you were, in your lists and in the article you are reading.

IPAD AND MAC
• On Mac, Feedler keeps one main window, and File › Add Feeds… (⌘N) replaces New Window.
• An OPML file opened from Files, Mail, AirDrop or the Finder opens its import in your current window.
• After switching accounts, the selected feed is highlighted and the article pane clears.

YOUTUBE
• Paste a YouTube channel or video address into Add Feeds to find the channel's feed.
• A YouTube article shows its video player without repeating the video's image above it.

ALSO
• Feeds are processed faster, RSS 1.0 feeds are read directly, and a few feeds that failed to load now work.
• Tapping the Sign-In Required banner opens the account's settings.
• Several fixes, including a crash at launch on Mac.

### 1.8.4 — 2026-10-29

Feedler is finally on the App Store, and the first update is already here! Make your article list your own, find articles faster, and keep your favorite controls within easy reach.

- Your list, your style: choose large thumbnails, small ones or none, adjust their position, and set how many lines to show for titles and summaries. A live preview uses one of your own articles so you can see each change as you make it (Settings › Lists › Layout).
- Find articles faster: tap the magnifying glass in the article list and start typing to filter by title, summary, author or source.
- Your buttons, within reach: on iPhone, choose which buttons appear at either end of the filter bar.
- A more consistent feel: round buttons now respond the same way when pressed.
- Plus small fixes and finishing touches throughout the app.

### 1.8.3 — 2026-10-29
