I’ve done a little research into it and these two don’t seem related, so what’s the deal? I’d prefer to NOT support anything Musk is involved with, if I can help it. Is using Feedly somehow supporting him? ### 3/5 — A new bug? *2023-06-13, version 1.0* A recent update of Classic causes pages to lay out too narrow on initial loads. Can be corrected with a brief iPad orientation flip, but it would be nice if this got fixed. ### 4/5 — Latest iOS update borked the app *2023-05-28, version 1.0* I love Feedly Classic, but the latest iOS update causes the app to shrink to half screen when you leave the app and come back to it. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it is what I say. But the explore function on the app is broken now and all it does is give me a endless searching screen. Otherwise perfect. ### 2/5 — Please Update This App *2021-12-03, version 1.0* I love Feedly Classic (and that’s only been reaffirmed after using the new Feedly): it’s simple and to-the-point and works well. But I’ve been running into tons of bugs as of late, especially related to videos in this app. Playing a video can sometimes just break the app entirely and force me to restart it; other times the video frame will still be in the right hand corner after I’ve gone out of full screen. And virtually every video I try to watch in Picture in Picture breaks when I leave Feedly, and turns black and makes it only possible to listen to the audio. This really stinks. Feedly Classic is maybe the last good (i.e. stable, not trying to sell you a subscription) app on the App Store, and it stinks that, unless the developers do something (HINT HINT), this thing is doomed to senescence. ### 1/5 — Stopped working today *2021-10-12, version 1.0* What’s going on. ### 2/5 — Explore *2021-10-09, version 1.0* This version is better but now “explore” is no longer working? ### 5/5 — So much better than the regular app! *2021-10-07, version 1.0* Slim app, fast, easy to use interface. Even uninstalled and reinstalled App. ### 1/5 — This version seems pretty broken at the moment *2024-08-03, version 1.0* It used to be an essential app which I would use daily, however the current version seems pretty broken. It no longer allows syncing to OneNote, the troubleshooting suggestions seem elsewhere doesn’t work and even trying to log in again is just causing the app to crash. Given that the support link on the app page in the AppStore doesn’t take you to an app page, it may be that you’ll need, like me, to look for an alternative if they don’t fix it soon. People have reported this for over a year. The app is finally dead I guess. Unusable as I am not able to sign in. Gmail declines my login attempts saying the app doesn’t comply with Gmail’s security requirements. I have tried repeatedly and tried to find support but apparently Feedly doesn’t provide any. I have a massive library and have been using the Classic app for at least ten years . If I get no support, which I probably won’t, I’ll be switching to Matter since, like many, I don’t like the non-Classic interface — it is distracting. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Fix the context menu *2025-02-28, version 1.0* I know you are not maintaining the app, but this shouldn't require big effort. Some context menu actions hang the app - could you please fix them?
