I got a frozen green screen and then eventually I got a glitchy white screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled and then I got the login screen but I can’t advance past the page to enter my email. So I click on app support from the App Store and go to their website to try to log in for support and I get a “too many requests” error. Is this app/company being supported still? I see an app update was pushed out a week ago but I can’t use anything. ### 2/5 — Too many behind paywall *2026-08-13, version 90.0.52* I just uninstalled the app. My time is my most valuable resource so I guard it with my life. Way too many stories in the feed we’re linking to stories behind a paywall. For instance, very first two today were NYJ stories requiring a sub to read. Wasting my time. However, with the latest update, the Page Scrolling setting is broken. First it wouldn't work at all, kept crashing as soon as I opened it. I uninstalled and reinstalled and lost all of the feeds I had spent years curating. I am seriously annoyed. So many apps are being vibe coded with AI these days! That would be very good ### 2/5 — Broken *2026-08-02, version 90.0.49* I’ve been using Feedly for years on computer, iPhone, and iPad. Recently the iPad app seems to be broken. First it would pull up the green screen with the logo, but that’s all it would do. I deleted and redownloaded, but can’t log in. It gives me the option to use Google, Apple,Microsoft or email, but selecting any of those just makes the icon flash: no login screen appears. Same thing happens if I select sign up instead of log in. I tried the same thing again after updating iOS, and still can’t get to a login screen. This makes me sad because iPad lets me read on a large ish screen somewhere other than my desk, and I miss that ability. ### 1/5 — Love Feedly. Hate the new app. *2026-08-01, version 90.0.49* First of all, I haven’t been able to read more than two articles in a row before it crashes. Secondly, do they think we’ve all gone blind? This “new” app uses huge fonts and massive amounts of white space that mean I can only see one or two articles at a time. This completely defeats the purpose of using Feedly. I love the service, but someone was completely out of touch with any normal humans when they approved this update. And now that the Feedly Classic app has been broken by the developers, it looks like it’s time to hunt down a new service and say goodbye to Feedly. ### 2/5 — Bring back Feedly classic! *2026-07-31, version 90.0.49* This one sucks. Now feedly classic has been delisted to force hidden, misleading, predatory $25 subscriptions for ai bloat that no one needs on this terrible app. Dont bother. When clearing new item list it doesn’t take the first time. Have to go through everything twice. 2. However, with the latest update, the Page Scrolling setting is broken. Today it lost all my feeds, would not even respond to my email. It didn’t either think I didn’t have an account or have a wrong password: nada, nothing. Someone has goofed big time. I hope a new update fixes the problem. ### 1/5 — Multiple Mark as Read Required to Clear, Scrolling Types Breaks *2026-08-13, version 90.0.52* First of all, bring back Feedly Classic, much cleaner and less prone to issues. The current Feedly app is a navigation mess. Mark as Read requires at least 2 presses before clearing the articles and marking as read. The scrolling type randomly switches from Paged to Smooth. These bugs have persisted through multiple app updates. Feedly ist wirklich mit Abstand sehr gut und ich hoffe er bleibt noch lange am Markt. Dies würde ich gern Unterstützen, jedoch sind mir 8€ pro Monat zu viel. Somit bleibe ich bei der free Version, welche mir im Umfang eigentlich auch reicht. You would think the app developers could have figured this out in the beta versions which have been out for sometime. I’m not excited about switching but this is annoying.
