I love the fact that it only uses local WiFi. On my first file transfer I got an abrupt full-screen ad with a notice “Time to upgrade to Feem Pro,” but when the ad was over I can’t find anywhere in the app to actually upgrade. I’d rather just have a paid version of the app up front. Don’t string me along, throw ads in my face and then make the upgrade setting impossible to find. However, while the error message has gone away, l had to renew my purchase. And that is where the problem arose: I have not received the email though I have tried on many occasions. Then, I noticed when I received the video, the quality was clearly taken down. To me, quality is everything, same with pictures, it also downgraded quality. Everything being so fast is cool tho ### 1/5 — Connection closed *2020-01-11, version 4.4.1* I reached out with an email a couple of months back in regard to every single file I send from two devices showing a “connection closed” after a few seconds. As an example a 150mb YouTube file I sent from my phone to my iPad required me to click the “download button” 114x to get the file to finally finish. You can image how many times I have to do that to send a larger file. Have tried 2.5G, 5G hotspots, restarting devices, updated app on both devices and ensuring both devices aren’t in battery saving mode. Slightly infuriating. If you have a solution I would love to hear, cheers. ### 2/5 — PC to Ipad photos fail *2019-09-28, version 4.2.8* App connected and copied just fine, but the user interface on device NEEDS WORK. Each photo open attempt presents a dialog with choices: View or Other app. Yet no choice will simply export into the photos app for casual viewing, albuming etc. ### 1/5 — Trash *2019-08-08, version 4.2.8* Trash. As it is, v4 will work but, in IOS, all that happens is that iDevices lose the ability to work together and cannot work with Pro versions on other versions. (I received email from Feem, when I complained, stating this - and blaming Apple) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2019-05-10, version 4.2.8* Randomly stops the download for no reason, reaches 99% and says remote file not found. Attempted twice, seems to throttle speed randomly as well. It didn’t do that yesterday, I’m not sure what the hold up is today. I’ll adjust this review when an update is applied, or I will refund Feem Pro for iOS. ### 1/5 — Cannot paste! *2021-05-19, version 4.4.4* Whenever I wanna pasted the text on my iOS Feem, the input window will disappear and I need to try quite a few time to successfully do it. Awful! ### 1/5 — Didn’t work *2021-02-27, version 4.4.4* With Windows 10 on a new mid-range HP laptop, the Feem app on my iPhone 11 running iOS 14.4 kept popping up a request to search the local network for other devices, which I kept approving. Both iPhone and Windows Feem apps showed they were connected to the same WiFi network, a simple home network running on a new Eero router. All new equipment running the latest operating systems with very run-of-the-mill configurations. Yet neither device - each sitting inches away from the other - could find the other. This Feem app is a huge timesaver. I just take the pics or vids I’ve snapped on my phone and send them to the windows client running on my server on my home lan and now they’re in my plex app and I don’t even have to leave living room... incredible. The free version works very well but will randomly crash. No issue though since it starts right back up. I think I will certainly buy the pay version to be able to send files to a more specific area since the free version only puts them in the default PC location.
