## What is Felt Weather?

Felt answers the question a weather app leaves to you: given how you feel the cold, the heat, the wind and the rain, and given what is already on your calendar, when should you actually go?

Felt is a planning app. Weather is what it reads; the day is what it plans.

Pick the activities you care about once, tune how each one likes the weather, and Felt ranks the day around them. A runner's perfect 55 is not a patio evening's 72, so every activity carries its own tuning. She leads with your next good window, says why it is good, and shows the hours worth skipping too. One tap puts the window on your calendar. Move it, or undo it, and the plan and the calendar stay in step.

EVERYTHING IS FREE FOR 14 DAYS

Install Felt and the whole app is open for two weeks. No payment details, nothing to start, nothing to cancel. After that, Felt Pro is $9.99 a month. One price, no other plan.

THREE SIMPLE SPACES

Today
Your next good window leads the screen, scored by your own comfort. The Day Ribbon traces comfort across the whole day as one line, and you can scrub hour by hour for feels-like, rain chance, wind, UV and humidity. A prep panel offers plain, non-medical notes on what to wear and what to bring, and tells you when to leave.

Plan
Pick a future day and the confidence indicator rises as the day gets closer, so you can see how much the forecast is still guessing. Name the plan, add a note and reminders, and save it. Back on Today, Felt ranks 15, 30 and 60 minute windows for the activity you chose, weighing comfort, your calendar and a safety read, and one tap books the best one.

Route
Build a route with stops and a travel mode, and see the weather sampled along the path at the time you would arrive. Then hand off to Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.

WHAT FELT PRO GIVES YOU

- Every activity ranked hour by hour, not only your top one.
- The hours to skip, and the published guidance that says so. Heat, cold, UV, wind and lightning read against your activity rather than in general, each naming the authority behind the threshold.
- Book the good hour straight to your calendar, then move it or undo it.
- If a plan you already booked slips enough that Felt would no longer pick that hour, she says so on the booking's card, with both comfort numbers and one tap to move it.
- When to leave, so the window is the window you actually get.
- Ask Felt to book your window, in your own words.
- Morning and evening briefs in Felt's own voice, plus tomorrow's brief tonight while you can still move things.
- Plan rooms up to ten people, and the people you invite join without a subscription of their own.
- Unlimited saved places.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

- Your calendar titles never leave the device. Only a redacted summary travels into widgets and the Live Activity.
- Felt earns nothing from ads or third-party trackers, and usage counting waits until you switch it on.
- The comfort engine runs on device and explains itself instead of handing you raw numbers.
- Sign in with Apple or Google to keep your places and plans with your account, and remove your account from inside the app whenever you want.

ALSO INCLUDED
- A home-screen widget, a Lock Screen and Dynamic Island Live Activity.
- Siri and Shortcuts for a quick brief or the next good window.
- An in-app feedback path that sends only the note you write.

Felt plans your day. It is not an emergency alert service: your iPhone delivers government emergency alerts on its own, and Apple Weather is built in and free.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.12.11 — 2026-08-25

I can show you around now. Every piece of what I do has its own short demo, each one a few beats long, with the exact control it lives on pointed out. They all live in Access under Felt shows you, and you can watch any of them whenever you like. The demos for paid features say plainly what opens them.

Once I have properly read a day for you, I will offer the short version, one time. Say not now and nothing nags. Access keeps every demo forever.

Your widget grew up. It now draws the same comfort curve you see in the app, with your best window fenced and the rough stretch marked. Your Home Screen shows how the day rises and falls instead of a row of pills.

My voice is steadier this release. Behind my spoken lines, the plumbing was repaired, so they arrive far more dependably than they did.

Tapping got easier across the app. Twenty-seven controls grew to a proper fingertip size, including the main buttons you use most.

Tell us where a demo loses you. We are in Discord and we read everything sent from inside the app.

### 1.12.8 — 2026-08-17

Kept: a new card on Today shows the hours Felt picked across the last seven days and the next seven, today included, and what happened to each one. It says how many of the last seven days she reached, and how many days your calendar stayed closed to her. The card lives on your phone and has no share button.

Ask Felt can now open the screen that answers your question. Ask about your week, your best window, your next event or how it feels right now, and the button to see it appears under her answer.

When Felt cannot read your calendar she says so and names the access to open, so you know what to do.

When the weather turns on an hour you booked, Felt shows what she read then and what she reads now, names the one thing that explains the change when there is one, and says what to bring when there is something worth bringing, with a Move button beside it. If a government office has issued an alert covering that hour, she shows their words and their name.

When the on-device model puts Felt's answer in its own words, every figure it uses is checked against the figure Felt computed. If it adds one, you get Felt's plain answer.

The new card, the booked-hour update and the Ask Felt routing are there for people in their first two weeks and on Felt Pro.

### 1.12.7 — 2026-08-16

Felt can offer to tell you when a good day is coming.

After she has shown you a window worth having, she asks once whether you would like a heads up on mornings and evenings that look good. Say not now and she will not ask again.

She also keeps an eye on plans you already booked. If the forecast turns enough that she would no longer pick that hour, she says so on that booking, shows you both comfort numbers, and offers to move it.

Small fixes throughout.

### 1.12.6 — 2026-08-12

Planning with people just got clearer. When Felt finds the best time for your group, she now shows the time she passed over and the person it would have been hardest on, so you can see she weighed the whole day.

Small fixes throughout.

### 1.12.5 — 2026-08-11

Felt gets better at planning with you over time.

She learns what kind of weather feels right to you. Keep the times she suggests, or move them when they don’t feel right. Felt uses your choices to make future plans fit you better. You can see every change and undo it whenever you like.

Planning with other people takes one tap. Start a shared plan, and Felt finds a time that works for everyone based on what each person is comfortable with. She adds it to your calendar and sends everyone a link to open Felt.

You get the full app for 14 days after installing it. After that, Felt Pro is $9.99 a month. It’s one simple plan, and everything you save stays yours.
