## What is Fencer?

Fencer runs fencing competitions end to end — pools, seeding, indices, elimination and repechage. Everyone scores from their own phone. Free to use.

The all-in-one app for hosting and managing fencing competitions, from a weekly club training night to a full tournament. Nobody has to sit at the score table, and nobody counts an index by hand.

CREATE COMPETITIONS YOUR WAY
Set up events with your choice of weapon (foil, épée, sabre), category and format. Configure multiple pool rounds, set pool counts, and add direct elimination with an optional repechage. Change the setup right up until pools are generated — useful when you don't know who will show up. Group recurring events into Competition Series.

REAL-TIME SCORING FROM ANY DEVICE
Participants and referees enter scores directly from their phones, and results sync instantly across every device — no more waiting around the score table. Or run the whole event from one shared device at the venue.

POOL ROUNDS MADE EASY
View pool sheets in a traditional table format or an interactive view with zoom and pan. Participants can see just their own matches in a simplified mobile-friendly view. Victories, touches and indices are calculated as results come in.

DIRECT ELIMINATION BRACKETS
Tableau brackets are generated automatically from pool results. Seeding, matchups and progression are handled for you.

REPECHAGE AND BRONZE MEDAL MATCHES
Give eliminated fencers a second chance. Losers drop into a ladder running alongside the main bracket — win and you stay in, lose again and you're out. The last two standing fence for bronze, so third place is earned on the strip instead of decided by seeding. Open the repechage from the very first round, from any later round, or keep it to a bronze medal match alone.

TRACK A SINGLE BOUT
Refereeing just one match? The built-in match tracker runs a bout on its own — clock, score, cards, priority, draws and the extra minute, following the same halt-before-you-record rule as the real thing. No account, no connection, nothing to set up.

EASY JOINING WITH CODES AND QR
Participants join by entering a code or scanning a QR code. Enable Public Mode for a shared device at the venue, or add guests who have no account at all.

EXPORT AND SHARE
Export pool sheets and brackets as images — perfect for the club chat or social media.

YOUR COMPETITIONS, KEPT
Every competition you enter with an account stays on your profile. No more pool sheets lost in a drawer — and the groundwork for the stats, trends and head-to-head records coming next.

BUILT FOR FENCING CLUBS
Fencer removes manual score tracking and index calculations. Results follow standard fencing conventions, so you get exactly what you would have written on the sheet — only faster, and still there next season.
