But I can’t successfully launch the app on my iPad - I’ve deleted and reinstalled and that doesn’t help. Any assistance would be great. After trying it, there is no live feedback or gamification of any of the songs. I don’t know why I would pay 150 a year to get tabs and video lessons only. I can get what this offers for free in tons of other resources. App thinks I am a new user and goes through the startup questions. On the fourth screen, “What path interests you right now?” the app closes. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted the iPad, tried multiple times but not able to start the app beyond those four screens. If you play a video on full screen and then click X the video either starts from the beginning or plays two sets of audio at once. I wish it supported my audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett = super popular) so that the guitar input would be noise free. Yousican support it, so have been using that app more as a result. After changing email address there was no way for me to sign in and recover my account. Now I can’t cancel. I can’t renew. It has some nice features and provides a learning path with lessons, practice and feedback. The problem is the app is just very glitchy. It has crashed on my eve. Using the feedback feature. I’m unable to change the learning path level beyond level 1. I’ve tried the app on both my iPhone and iPad, these problems persist on both devices. If it was a stable and reliable app, I would continue using it. But it’s not worth paying the subscription with these impediments. For those looking for specific songs, the songs available are limited. I see a lot from Metallica. But then there are zero songs from other artists: U2, Johnny Cash. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-11-01, version 7.4.3* I have a subscription but Fender has increased considerably the pricing so I don’t have access to the platform anymore if I don’t upgrade the plan, even with an active plan… Basically this the way they have to all current customers be obligated to pay the new pricing and that’s why customer support is not helping at all. But the worst it’s that instead they explain the situation they have wait until I have paid this month to reply me saying that I can cancel next month without give me any solution and don’t be possible to access!!. Very disappointed… the content is great but the service, subscriptions team and customer service is awful. ### 3/5 — Great guitar knowledge. Horrible Crashes *2025-10-26, version 7.4.3* The library is insane, i used this app from day 1 with my new guitar and it has taught me so much, how ever it has a horrible crash problem. It crashes consistently while doing review lessons, and also has bugs where audio from videos doubles or triples. Now previous scores are wiped, new 100% scores are shown as 1%, and some lessons cannot hear the notes at all, or claim that the wrong bass string(!) was played or the beat was off. There’s a lot of 0% scores from new lessons for me moving forward. I’m waiting for them to fix this mess which they do not openly acknowledge. Support explains the moving of Feedback Mode, and advises to reinstall the app. What a crock! ### 1/5 — Update screwed up the feedback mode *2026-07-27, version 8.0.0* The latest update added feedback mode to practice mode. First problem is that it doesn’t record my score. The bigger problem is that I can no longer use AirPods for listening to the track and iPad microphone for listening to my playing. It is all either iPad or AirPod and AirPods only hear voice. Notes aren’t recognized. There are songs, chords, and, unlike Simply Guitar, it actually teaches you tablature. There is one bug, however, and that’s sometimes when I play a video for a course, it glitches and plays the audio from the start while continuing to play the audio from where I’m at, and the video is just frozen. I just restart the app when that happens, but if you could fix it that would be great. Anyway, I just wanted to say I found an easier way to play Enter Sandman, the third riff on the course I’m currently doing. You play open low E 3 times, then you play the 6th fret on low E, then the 5th fret, then repeat, but on each repeat play the first low E 4 times. That’s how I found it easier to play. Can you see why I call myself the Overranter?
