I’m guessing it wants me to sign up for xyz. Yeah, well obviously having an offline thing that can work perfectly without is not a credible option. App says I need a firmware update however my Quantum is up to date. App remains unresponsive. This is a total disaster because with clients in the studio I had to revert to an old IPad that had not receiced the ´forced’ update yet. PLEASE bring back the Presonus version. This latest release from July absolutely does not work. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. Nothing has changed in my network or my set up. When I do get it to load the second my iPad goes to sleep the app crashes and the whole UI disappears, and I have to literally shut down and restart not just the app, but also the mixer itself. ### 1/5 — Unstoppable update on the app! It seems like you have no intention on fixing this either after everyone’s complaints. How about you stick do what you do best, suing guitar companies and leave the stuff that used to work to true Presonus developers. I am beyond disappointed. Every feature, every function that was available in UC Surface is available and working as it always has. Your problem , for whatever reason, is the name “Fender”. At least admit it. ### 5/5 — Works great so far! *2026-02-26, version 5.0* Not sure why all the negative reviews. Works just the Universal Control with a few updates. I have many Presonus interfaces, consoles and mixers… all connected without a problem. I would suggest updating everything to the latest firmware if you do have any connectivity problems. A little disappointed the interface hasn’t changed to reflect the demo screen. ### 3/5 — Can Not Change Channel Names *2026-01-21, version 5.0* There is no way to change the channel scripts, you get numbers or icons only, so if you put Bass on channel 4 on the 16.0.2, there is no way to tell that to Universal Control, that Bass is on 4, you better remember where you put it. Hopefully this feature will be in future updates. ### 3/5 — It’s Ok *2026-01-18, version 5.0* Fender you forgot to add the release time knob back onto the limiter. I have asked for a fix but it falls on deaf ears ### 2/5 — Wish it worked on my screen size *2026-03-31, version 5.0* I keep getting an error that “remote control is not supported at this screen size”. It works well on iPads and the ancient iPod Touches we use to control stage monitors, it just won’t work on my iPhone 13.
