During one ride, I was charged exactly the estimated price shown at the start. However, after I completed the trip and paid, I received repeated calls claiming there was a “system error” and that I had underpaid. They said the driver requested a recalculation after the trip ended and expected me to pay extra. This is not acceptable. The price should be final once the ride is completed and paid. What is more concerning is that this does not appear to be an isolated case. I have heard similar experiences from others, which suggests a pattern. In another instance, I selected a basic ride for less than 3 km and was charged around 530 birr, which is ridiculously high. Overall, the pricing lacks transparency and consistency. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before using this app. ### 1/5 — Disappointed customer!! *2026-03-08* I had a very disappointing experience with this app. I requested a ride and the price estimate in the app was much lower than what the driver showed when he arrived. I clearly told the driver not to start the ride because I was not willing to pay that higher price, but he started the ride anyway. Because of that, I was forced to pay the starting fee, which was already higher than the normal standard. I contacted customer support, but they sided with the driver instead of helping resolve the issue. This felt very unfair and frustrating as a customer.
