In an increasingly cashless society, this is sad and unfair news. Given sufficient time and great care to include all Australians, Australia will inevitably become a cashless society. What is the sense in surcharging all of your customers in an increasingly cashless environment? The Reserve Bank of Australia can come to every customer’s rescue by (1) provide a basic, free banking service for anyone that is administered in all Australia Post outlets. (2) provide a free electronic wallet for any Australian who wants to use it for any transaction. (3) offer a no frills Eftpos card similar to all Debit cards which transfers funds from one bank account to another bank account to pay for all transactions. The Reserve Bank of Australia will be central to Australia’s gradual evolution to a cashless and surcharge-less society. ### 1/5 — False advertising *2023-07-31* Not great rewards never worked and pies cakes are really expensive. Forces me to create new account causing loss of my rewards. Web interface is the same doesn't recognise my login and password. Nor will it recognise my numerical account number. Just spent nearly $300 on cakes & sweets including a coffee to go. App doesn’t open. There is no updates in the App Store, obviously I have the latest app version.
