## What is Fermat's Math Puzzle?

Merge the numbers nature loves.

Fermat's Puzzle is a relaxing merge puzzle built on the most beautiful ideas in mathematics. Tap to place Fibonacci tiles — when two neighbors are consecutive Fibonacci numbers (1+1, 1+2, 2+3, 3+5…), they merge into the next. Chain reactions multiply your score by the golden ratio φ.

Everything you see and hear follows the math: backgrounds arranged by the golden angle (137.5°) along Fermat spirals, colors spaced around the hue wheel by the golden ratio, and an endless generative soundtrack synthesized in real time using just intonation (pure ratios 1 : 9/8 : 5/4 : 3/2 : 5/3) with melodies that walk the scale in Fibonacci steps.

Take on the Daily Challenge — everyone in the world gets the same tiles — and climb the Game Center leaderboards.
