Tapping a reminder now opens the batch it belongs to, instead of leaving you on the home list to find the jar yourself.

Notifications got quieter too. One morning check-in rather than one per jar, and the follow-up nudge no longer lands on a day that already had one. Fermento also points out a few things it kept to itself: starter care lives under a long press, and every batch you start from a starter joins its family tree.

Fermento now pings you when a batch is ready to taste, and the celebration that follows can start your next batch in one tap.

Starters get more attention too. Long-press one on the home list to feed it or start a batch from it, and when a starter dies, send it off with a shareable death certificate. Cause of death: vacation.
