## What is Ferticare?

ARTpatient is intended exclusively for professionals (physicians, nurses) and patients of the Ferticare clinic. Real access is granted with an invite (QR code or link) issued by the clinic — there is no public sign-up and no account creation. Without an invite the app only offers a demonstration mode with fictional sample data, to show how it works.

ARTpatient is the official Ferticare clinical app for assisted reproduction technology (ART) treatment follow-up: IVF, IUI, ovulation induction, frozen embryo transfer, male fertility and hormonal treatment regimens.

Features:
• Sessions wallet — each session has its own cryptographic identity, kept separate from the others.
• Dose calendar, adherence logging and side-effect tracking.
• End-to-end encrypted clinical notes between patient and care team.
• Secure delivery of report PDFs and ultrasound images, encrypted with the device key.
• Reminders are scheduled on the device itself.
• Discreet notifications by default: generic text, content hidden on the lock screen.
• Multilingual: Portuguese, English, French.

Privacy by design:
• Zero-knowledge architecture — the server only ever sees anonymous identifiers and encrypted data.
• Cryptographic keys never leave the device.
• No analytics and no trackers (other than optional error reports).
• Optional clinic alerts: only with your consent, never any content, and you can turn them off at any time.

This app does not replace medical consultation. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-06

What's new:
• The app always opens on the profile in use, without going through the profile list.
• When accepting the terms, choose your options (notifications, app lock and more), each explained, or "Turn everything on".
• Messages: "Paste image" attaches an image copied in another app.
• The lock screen shows the clinic's name.
• Professionals: patients with the app active at the top of the list.
• Several fixes.
