If you were wondering why you should protest against all the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune – then this app gives you the chance to let slip the dogs of war.

It is simple and plain — but not in the over-looked wallflower at a junior prom kind of way. Rather more like the preternaturally graceful and chic, teen Kate Moss nude advert for Calvin Klein’s Obsession campaign kind of way.

It is spare without falling into austere.

And it keeps your entries hidden from view all year long -to be revealed only days before you must suffer actual social cutback at the holidays themselves - so that the grievances can fester and stew beyond the point where they can be rationalized away by open-minded and earnest communication with the offender.

This app preserves the quintessence of any good ledger of grief: it is relentless and it is unmerciful 

The only room for improvement ? : 

Access to your address book so that there could be a group chat mode in iMessage/FaceTime that would actually go the final step towards a virtual, shared social experience of always discomfort almost as good as the real thing being delivered in person

Perhaps thus could be an upgrade option - purchased in blocks of 5 or 10 grievances, like stickers.
