I wasn’t sure if I was adding to a predetermined percentage tip or deciding on the shopper/delivery person’s whole tip. I did like being able to post a photo to my requested items so that it was easier for the shopper to find the right ones. This app/service is convenient when you don’t have a car or don’t feel well enough to go out, but it’s really expensive if you live far away from the store. ### 3/5 — Hidden fees *2021-12-22, version 6.3.1* I ordered a $24 dollar cake to be delivery within their delivery radius. No one discussed fees so when I received the invoice I was TOTALLY amazed and felt cheated. The bill to pick up and deliver a $24 cake was $88.22. The cost of the cake was doubled to $48 and then there was a $26.42 delivery fee; a $9.60 service fee and another $5.00 undefined fee. Be sure and ask for all fees before placing an order. Why am I breaking up with them? 1. My orders have had incorrect items on more than 40% of occasions. 2. Their customer service takes days to get back to you. 3. When they do, you MIGHT get a credit off your next order, depending on what the restaurant argues. Don't ever expect a refund on the incorrect item. 4. For the privilege of experiencing items 1-3, expect your order cost to double the price of the restaurant, thanks to fees and tip. I really, really want to support local businesses, but I can't get behind Fetch anymore. The most recent time was when I ordered a meal that costed no more than $12 yet it took $30. Terrible interface and you can’t use it without sharing your location (even though it pretends to give you the option to not share your location). I don’t know who designed this, but it looks like it was made in the early 2000s. Service is bad — delivery is slow and unreliable. Once I got the wrong order. Another time my order was cancelled unexpectedly. And the other time it increased almost $10 in price after submitting my order without warning. Don’t get this app, there are way better delivery services out there. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2018-09-11, version 4.3.1* Requires google or facebook to login. NO other options given. Also once you log in with one of these two methods, you are prompted to enter your credit card info. I can’t even search to a restaurant first. When in Santa Fe I used extensively for prescriptions, groceries, and food and in the same Fetch. A great feature. I have used them to pick up shoes from the mall, take my packages to the post office, bring me a blender when mine broke in the middle of making my morning shake, the list goes on! Plus I use Fetch on the daily for food, groceries, beer. Their drivers always remember me and have wonderful communication during my orders.
