### 2/5 — Honest Review

*2015-04-01, version 3.0*

Fhotoroom used to be one of my go-to apps. I used this when I was still using Lumia 1020 and I purchased everything for iPhone. However it's not as responsive as the other apps and its UI started to bore me. I hope the developers will make a total makeover.

### 3/5 — Mr.Photographer

*2015-01-25, version 2.5*

I really like this app,BUT PLEASE UPDATE!!..

### 3/5 — Better on windows phone

*2014-10-08, version 2.03*

Can't upload images from my iPhone 5s hopefully we get an update soon!!!

### 3/5 — Rough

*2014-02-25, version 1.0*

Thanks for finally bringing this to iOS. The app is a bit rough but please keep at it!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Removed all social features???

*2019-04-12, version 6.5*

What are you idiots?? You just cut out part of what made this app fun! Why bother using it now?

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2017-12-02, version 5.14*

The app continually crashes...but that shouldn't really bother me as it will not even let me set up an account!

### 1/5 — Frames are doubled

*2017-06-30, version 5.7.0*

All the circles, triangles, heart shape etc. frames are doubled and cover a half of a square picture.

### 1/5 — Needs iPad app

*2015-06-21, version 3.3*

Get more apps out there.

### 1/5 — A huge "leak" forward?

*2015-03-26, version 3.0*

1x/2x on iPad? Really? How hard would it have been to just scale to the size of the device? This app looks like crap on the iPad.

And what's with the nickel-and-diming for in-app purchases of every little feature?

I guess it was a bad omen that you didn't even bother to proofread the first sentence of your own product description. A huge "leak" forward?

I'm still wondering how I got on your email list.

### 1/5 — Force closes with iPhone 4 and iPad mini

*2015-03-25, version 3.0*

After the current update now the app will not open. I first got this app when I had a windows phone and I know that it is made for that os only. After I went to the iPhone version I wanted to quit using this app due to its lack of being user friendly. I can not comment back after my friends comment on a photo. I can can not get notifications for likes or comments. I have well over 650 followers and over 30,000 likes with 6,000 comments, I feel like I am doing well and I want to continue to use this but there are way too many bugs to fix and very little updates. For my iPad Mini 2 the app works better except when I go to post a photo it force closes after the photo is uploaded. Please fix all these issues so my followers and I could share and see what great images from all over the world.

### 1/5 — Scary.

*2014-06-29, version 1.9*

Lots of fakes on here. Not safe for young children.

### 2/5 — Crashing!!

*2018-12-20, version 6.2*

I downloaded it on my iPhone and every time I try to login in, it shuts me out and sends me to my home page. I tried going through the website and the same thing happened. Please fix it

### 2/5 — Had potential but failed

*2018-08-10, version 6.2*

Downloaded for Chromatic Abberation feature, barely works/opens properly. Camera crashes when I open thru app. Failed potential

### 2/5 — Slow

*2015-04-10, version 3.1*

It's way too slow on my iPhone

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good when it works.

*2014-08-18, version 2.2*

Great app when it works.

### 5/5 — Finally you arrive for iOS devices!!! :3

*2014-02-10, version 1.0*

Not as awesome as the app for Windows phones, but good enough. A tad bit slow, but better than nothing. ^^ Also, I can't find tilt shift anywhere. :3

### 4/5 — HDR Resolution bug?

*2017-11-12, version 5.13*

I use the app to edit 20mp DSLR images. The app generally has an output of 11.2Mp (4096 x ______), obviously throttled by the idevice graphics controller. Not perfect, but I can live with it. However when HDR is selected, and the image is edited, the output resolution drops to 2.8mp (2048 x ______). Is this by design, or is it a bug? I find no way in the app to ask for support, and clicking the AppSupport button in the AppStore description simply takes you to the App's community image area. So my issue/question is posted here.

### 4/5 — Fantastic app.

*2017-06-30, version 5.7.0*

Having moved over to the iPad Pro after my Surface died I can safely say the Windows version is better. That being said, I use the app daily on both my phone and my iPad and love it. I have an iPhone 7 and a iPad 9.7 pro. Uploaded pictures are in a much higher resolution on the iPad.

### 4/5 — Some bugs make it just shy of perfection

*2016-11-06, version 4.6.1*

This would easily be my favorite photo app, but some bugs and missing features make it just shy of perfect. I do find it better than the standard Photos app or Snapseed.

PROS
- Has temperature and tint! Why do not more photo apps have these?
- Sharpening slider
- Lens correction fixes fisheye and barrel distortion! Not just vertical and horizontal distortion. Only $0.99 and comes with Denoise.
- All the standard Exposure, Contrast, Highlight, Shadow, etc... controls as well
- For the most part, well laid out
- Most features are free, and the ones that aren't can be tried out, just not saved

CONS
- Can access as a Photos Extension (Hurray!) but it errors out when I try to save back to Photos (needs to be fixed)
- The lens correction features are not available through the Photos extension, which means you have to open the app as a standalone and save a copy back to Photos
- You can't preview what the original photo looked like just by pressing on the photo, you have to suppress all the layers
- HDR tool is slow, unintuitive and the auto settings make the photo look awful
- Filters are just ho-hum
- Ugly skewmorphic icon (yeah it's nit-picky, but seriously it probably the ugliest one on my phone)

### 4/5 — Make a version for iPad

*2015-09-18, version 3.5*

Good app, make a version for iPad!!

### 4/5 — Finally on iPhone

*2014-03-27, version 1.0*

It's missing double exposure and tilt shift

### 4/5 — it's okay.

*2014-03-05, version 1.0*

didn't work as good as it did on my windows phone, but I'm glad iOS has it now. it's basically the only app u use to edit, it has everything I need plus more :) can't wait for some updates, though. (well needed updates)

### 3/5 — I really want to use this

*2018-06-14, version 6.2*

This app is incredibly solid on the windows platform. I love it there and want to use it on iOS too but it keeps crashing on my 7+.

The editor functions seem ok but the camera crashes every time I try to take a shot. The built in camera app for iOS is not great and I want to use this one instead.

Once the crashing is fixed, please add an option to launch directly to camera.

### 3/5 — Great app.... Could be 🤔

*2016-06-07, version 4.1*

Would have given 5 stars, but when I add the Ansel filter the app crashes every time. What makes matters worse you just updated the app... Could have been awesome, especially since the article in Mac Life magazine... Oh well, guess me and my group will have to move on. That is unless the changes are made in a timely fashion. Then I would give a amended review of 5 stars...😀👍
