## Most critical reviews (7 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2025-07-20*

Using iPhone 16 pro max with a Viavi mp-60 and the accept does not recognize the connection. Just displays “connect device to get started”.

### 1/5 — Probe great… software not so much

*2025-06-10, version 2.2*

Every time I have gone to use this software it crashes on many of the configuration pages before ever saving anything.

Is the most recent version really 9 years old?

### 1/5 — Does not recognize iPhone 11.

*2021-12-27*

Used many different adapters for the lightning port but none work. Different dongles you name it. Main one was usb female to lightning port. Nothing works. Unit works well with any android but that is not an option. Have to use laptop which is super not convenient. Why is this? Now we have been issued new 12 and nothing either. What’s going on?

### 1/5 — Microscope not working

*2017-01-25*

Totally useless. Microscope power issue like above review

**Developer response:** The FBPP-WiFi Adapter is now available to connect the P5000i to your iOS device. More information is available at the following link. http://www.viavisolutions.com/en-us/literature/p5000i-digital-analysis-microscope-data-sheet-en.pdf

### 1/5 — Won't work!

*2016-11-17*

11/16/16 - Update

I now have the iPhone 7 Plus and it doesn't say low power, the light stays on when connected, but no luck testing. It won't open anything once connected.

Original Post -

I have tried it on my iPhone 6splus and iPad Pro. I'm using the apple usb to lightening and the JDSU p5000i and it says fiber scope use to much power.

I would really like to use this app!

### 1/5 — I concur with Lewis Lessons

*2016-08-12*

Same problem Lewis Lessons has. Both iPhone and iPad say the scope is drawing too much power.

### 5/5 — Inspect before you connect on my iPhone

*2016-06-06, version 1.0*

Great new capability!
