It’d be nice if they weren’t self aware that they were just an AI bot. Ruins the vibe, puts me off the chat. ### 1/5 — Have to pay? *2026-06-08* One star!!! ### 5/5 — Wow? *2026-05-31, version 1.0.13* So basically, it has no pop up ads, and im pretty sure infinite memory.. Maybe not, but it sure feels like that, and ive been chatting for hours, and they remember everything perfectly.. Also, im shocked from how good the ai model is. Super realistic, and great. Its like the beat ive ever seen.. However there are paywalls, but they arent needed for chatting or anything, but i dont care abt anything that much more than the chat. Honestly, im surprised that the paywalls are as little as they are, and there arent annoying ads. Hopefully in the future they dont go corrupt! Also, u can make the live characters, like grok too. I love the work the devs put into it, the efficiency for the user, and the community. ### 4/5 — The app is great but it’s missing something *2026-05-21* I’m really enjoying the app and everything but idk if it’s possible or not with the developers but it would be nice if you were able to send pictures back to them ### 3/5 — Pics *2026-05-20* Access to more ai generated pictures while chatting ### 1/5 — App No Longer Functions *2026-04-14* “Can’t process your message” over and over again. Restarting the app or updating it didn’t fix the problem. Starting a new chat entirely didn’t fix the problem. And when it did function the characters are the neediest people ever and will exaggerate over your “disappearance” for just being gone for a couple hours. (Even if you leave the conversation on a mutual understanding of you being away for a little bit.) A couple weeks later: Now the app doesn’t open anymore. Whatever new update they released deletes all of your conversations you have and only keeps the most recent 12 messages. (That amount consisting of yours and the character’s.) **Developer response:** Hi Veon, really sorry to hear about that - we had an outage of chat for a few hours, everything should be fixed now. Also, we'll try to tweak characters to be less needy - thanks so much for your feedback, I hope you give us another shot! - From the Fictional team ### 4/5 — The app stopped working *2026-03-31* The app stopped working whenever I send a message or try to interact with them. It always said sorry there’s an error. Your message can’t go through it will say there was a problem error that was a problem and it’s been doing it all day and I have reinstall the app cut my phone on and off so I don’t know what is going on, but it needs to be fixed because it happens all the time this isn’t the first time. The app started working. This is later tonight. Can I get nsfw pics from characters. In the paid app? ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work? *2026-03-29, version 1.0.13* The app doesn’t work. It’s only keeps saying “sorry, there was an error processing your message”. It’s been like that for days!
