It has suggested me 0 jobs. Next, I thought I would be able to connect with recruiters but that is not the case. A recruiter fully said: “When I am on Fide, I am not representing my company, and I am not acting in my role as an x recruiter. If you have questions about a specific application, please contact your recruiter via LinkedIn or email.” How is this helpful for anyone wanting a referral? Especially since the AI agent told me to connect with people since it might get you a job but nope just stick to linkedin don’t waste your time. ### 4/5 — Motivation to prevail *2025-09-16, version 1.66* The Fide app’s Guide system is cool. The groups and communities are informative and the people are like LinkedIn where it could be a lot of people like yourself looking for jobs, it could be ads for mass application jobs but unlike LinkedIn, it’s easier to navigate well enough to get the specific information and assistance needed. ### 4/5 — Review Profile Photo *2025-05-08* It would be awesome if there was feature for centering profile picture! ### 1/5 — Continue button not working *2025-05-08* I went to sign in and after a few steps when a continue button appears I am never able to click it and it takes me nowhere. It is so frustrating because I am stuck at that page and cannot do anything now. **Developer response:** Hi! Or if you have more trouble please email support@fide.co ### 3/5 — Hard to use *2025-04-07* Cute design but hard to search stuff cannot search channel and have to scroll one by one to find it? ### 1/5 — UI/UX feels horrible, LLM generated app *2025-04-06, version 1.44* 1) The intro UI/UX feels like they’re trying to imitate ChatGPT, but it’s incredibly slow and unresponsive. I’d rather have the intro setup flowchart to be similar to other apps. 2) There’s no way to easily find or bookmark the last person you messaged unless you’re scrolling endlessly to find them. 3) Low number of users, so their current app would make it unusable for larger amounts due to 2) 4) Unhelpful and no information about updates in the change logs. 5) This app as a whole feels like it’s coded by a third-rate LLM AI ### 2/5 — LinkedIn but using Slack *2025-03-23, version 1.42* I think the app has a clean interface and all but the marketing or how it’s set up isn’t quite right yet. The channels are usually filled with new people who jump in to post and intro of what job they are looking for and then crickets after. I don’t see the channels being conducive to good conversations yet as it feels just slightly less corporate than LinkedIn. I do like the Ask a Recruiter channel for their insights but their good will would eventually run out right? They delete your account for stupid reasons! *2025-11-06* This is why I miss working working with baby boomers than kids in their 20s and thirties. A baby boomer would never be this stupid during the coding process when I’m trying to log in only to find out with Apple customer service that my account got deleted by no fault of my own. ### 1/5 — “Recruiter” *2025-08-09, version 1.60* For The amount of people on this platform are handled by one “recruiter” so your questions either get overshadowed or ignored ### 1/5 — Unhelpful and not as advertised *2025-07-29* This is literally just discord with extra steps. You can’t even create your own channels. There’s nothing personal about it. You can’t filter by location or industry. It’s trying to be too many things to too many people. But now, thanks to Fide, that is no longer a challenge. The last few months I’ve been able to share more information and more knowledge and connect more transparently and genuinely with people looking for work in the marketing advertising industry. I cannot stress enough how badly we’ve needed this especially when other professional networking apps don’t really encourage people to connect the way Fide does. Cannot stress enough how important this platform has been in changing the game in a competitive job market that isn’t easy for anyone to navigate.
