## What is FidGrit?

FidGrit is the most Comprehensive Sports Management platform for Athletes, Event Organizers and Sports Clubs. Our goal is to enable sports professionals with latest technology advancements that tend to benefit professionals only.
FidGrit offers wide range of products as mentioned below  


### Challenger Ladder ###
Players can challenge opponents at higher rank that falls within challenge range, and if lower rank challenger wins then they replace opponent at that position and unlocks even higher rank players.
 

### League ###
FidGrit supports three types of league formats

* Round Robin League: League consists of seasons that follow the Round Robin match schedule i.e. each player plays against every other player in a any given season.

* Unbalanced League: In this format, not every player needs to play the same number of matches or with every other player in that season. Organizer may release a schedule when season starts and continue to add or remove matches as the season progresses.

* Flexi League With Divisions: Flexi League provides players the convenience of flexible match scheduling. In this format, players are responsible for scheduling their own matches for the time that works best for them. In Flexi League, we can create divisions and organize players into small groups based on their availability, skill or location. Each division can work as a separate league with its own schedule, standings and leaders board. This allows for more balanced competition and ensures that all teams have a chance to win.


### Tournament ###
FidGrit Tournament supports up to 10 events per Tournament, which together can have more than 1200 players. 
FidGrit Tournament supports three types of events
1. Round Robin
2. Single Elimination
3. Expedition (Pool Play)

Exciting News! Elo Rating System Now Available on FidGrit

We’re thrilled to announce that FidGrit now offers full support for the Elo Rating system in both Leagues and Ladders! Activating it is simple—just head to the administration panel on the FidGrit website to get started.

Once enabled, FidGrit will track player ratings in real time. You’ll see these ratings when scheduling matches, as well as in scheduled and completed match details. Plus, we’ve introduced a new feature that lets players monitor their rating progress with detailed rating history stats over time.

Our Elo Rating setup is highly customizable. You can adjust minimum and maximum ratings within a League or Ladder, and tweak the KFactor to control how quickly players can rank up. Whether you want fast-paced growth or more challenging progress, FidGrit gives you the flexibility to make it happen.

Admins can even collect player ratings during registration for new participants joining your League or Ladder, ensuring seamless integration right from the start.

Best of all, FidGrit will automatically update ratings based on match outcomes—no extra effort required from players.

# Support for division based round robin and unbalanced leagues #
We are happy to announce that with release 5.1 all our league formats now support divisions based seasons. You can now group players into divisions based on their skill level, location or availability no matter what league format you chose. Player stats are collected on Division level and are aggregated to League level and player level

With every build we try to improve customer experience by fixing any crashes reported by the users and enriching our user interface.

1. We are introducing two new league formats

# Challenger Ladder # 
1. New configuration that'll allow admin to restrict players from receiving challenges after they reach open challenges limit. By default, players can continue to receive challenges even after they have reached their open challenge limit to post new matches. Now, we can restrict this behavior using the configuration.
2. Admins can now Forfeit, Delete or Cancel open challenge matches. 
3. The accept challenge button is available on schedule match view making it easier for players to accept matches
4. Players now have the option to decline a challenge. Once declined, challenge is deleted and challenger team are notified.

1. Sports teams are not completely free
2. Admins can schedule practice sessions in the sports teams and organize matches as part of the session
