Same for the website. Sad because Fidsafe looked like what I was looking for compared to other websites that are too structured. It needs iPad support and both FidSafe.com website and this app needs an option to use an app for 2FA like Fidelity.com does. ### 2/5 — Can only upload photos?!?! *2019-12-04* It seems you can only upload photos from the iOS app. It doesn’t look like you can access the files app or other apps like Dropbox or google drive. You can upload other file types (pdf, etc.) from the website, but not through the app. Major shortcoming for this app!!! ### 1/5 — Useless on iPad *2019-09-15* Creared my account using my laptop. Decided to download the app for my iPad it barely works but it does not fit the screen it’s designed for the iPhone. Safari also does not work accessing this site. There is some extreme limitations with the iOS and fidsafe very disappointing. ### 2/5 — Limited use at current time *2018-10-27* Unable to upload a file from other location on phone, can only take a picture or upload from camera roll Looking forward to being able to upload actual files ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work - Completely Useless! *2018-07-07* After creating my account online, I decided to download the FidSafe app from the Apple AppStore to more easily access my account. After logging in with my email and password, the application goes to a new screen stating that I have chosen to verify my identity using security questions and asks me to answer the following security question. However, there is no question actually listed, only a space to provide the answer. There are also no options for 2-factor authentication or any other options to verify my identity besides answering a question that is never actually provided to give the user any clue on how to answer. I tried entering an answer I thought it was, however it just gave me an error and wouldn’t let me continue. This app is completely useless and a waste of time. Don’t waste your time until all of the bugs are addressed. ### 1/5 — No update for over a year *2017-09-10, version 2.0.0* iOS versions have changed and security features have been updated and this definitely needs to be updated to ensure compatibility. Also notes open in edit mode straightaway. Suggestion would be to open in read only mode like in the site. App does not display correctly on iPhone ### 1/5 — File upload *2025-05-21* Using iPhone - can’t upload pictures using a camera or an existing file from gallery. I’ve used the desktop and pictures were loaded and visible using a cell phone. ### 1/5 — Lacking *2025-03-01* No iPad app. Reading documents with zoom and scrolling is not a good experience. This app had never worked from the start. All my experience with the Fidelity agents has been very positive. Their patience, knowledge and cheerful attitude is admirable. They don’t deserve to be associated with the embarrassingly poor app like this. Neither do the Fidelity investors. Especially in 2023 when the powerful phones are all what’s needed for most of the time. Please have it fixed and I - for one shall forget this inconsistency. Thank you. Max ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore *2022-09-18* This used to be a great utility that allowed me to store important documents to reference later. However, it stopped working (login gives an incomprehensible error and the sign up pages don’t even load). It’s such a shame. ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2021-03-22* I tried to sign up despite being an existing Fidelity customer the sign up page won’t work. I don’t know why Fidelity creates such a crappy app and markets as well in their reading materials. Fix it guys. ### 1/5 — Cannot Use Fidelity ID to Log In *2021-01-15* If you are a Fidelity client who uses your Fidelity ID to log in to FidSafe, this app will not work for you, as it does not include a login option using your Fidelity ID, as you would see using web access. Also note that while this runs on an iPad, the app has a small iPhone screen size. ### 1/5 — Can't login at all anymore *2020-09-20, version 2.1.2* With no updates in 2 years, it looks like FidSafe is asleep at the wheel. With the recent update to iOS 14, I can no longer even login to the app anymore. Instead after typing valid credentials (which work on the FidSafe website by the way), I am greeted with a red banner, "login-form.failure. The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format." Come on guys. I expect better from a company backed by Fidelity, a company with 3.3 trillion dollars in assets under management (June 2020). Spare a few dollars for the devs at FidSafe and let us be able to at least log in again. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2020-07-10* This app is waste of time. Does not upload all the files and is sketchy at best. It has mind of its own to display files. This app gives bad name to fidelity. Just deleted it. Even customer service has no clue how to manage or navigate or answer customer query ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 4/5 — Great improvement!! *2025-03-25* I just noticed an upgrade released in a long time and downloaded it. And finally I can see it’s moving to the right direction. It has the much needed feature of scanning and file upload. Specifically the scanning works like magic, it’s much faster than any other scanning app I used. ### 4/5 — Needs a passcode or Touch ID *2016-10-20, version 2.0.0* Overall good concept. Since this app holds all your financial docs, it should have a pin or Touch ID function to prevent unauthorized access. ### 3/5 — Has Support & Development Stopped for FidSafe *2024-12-18* I have been setting up my family on FidSade via the web browser. However, when I come to the app, I see it hasn’t been updated in 2+ years. I will be reconsidering whether FidSafe is the right solution for my family. It is also unclear if the web browser version is still supported. ### 3/5 — Can’t upload files only photos. *2023-05-11* #1 Dislike is not being able to upload from iOS files. It loaded fine but as I scrolled through it, the pages were black. They flickered between black pages and the actual pages as I scrolled.
