Field Camera stamps every photo with where and when it was taken — coordinates, compass bearing, altitude, date and time — burned into the picture and written into the file's metadata, so the record holds up in any other software. Built for people whose photos are evidence: surveyors, insurance adjusters, building inspectors, solar and telecom crews, contractors, arborists, environmental consultants and anyone who has to prove where they were standing. WHAT GETS STAMPED • Coordinates in decimal degrees, degrees-decimal-minutes, degrees-minutes-seconds, UTM and MGRS • GPS accuracy, so you know how much to trust the fix • Video, with every reading updating through the clip (Pro) • Compass bearing, labelled true or magnetic — never a confident guess • Altitude above mean sea level, above the ellipsoid, or barometric, always labelled • Tilt and roll • Local date and time, the time zone, and UTC ALL OF THAT IS FREE. Including UTM and MGRS. TWO PHOTOS, EVERY TIME Field Camera saves the stamped photo and an untouched original of the same shot. The stamp can be redrawn from that original months later with different fields, a different layout, or a coordinate format you didn't need at the time. Your originals are never modified. A STAMP YOU CAN READ Reorder the fields. Four presets — Survey, Insurance, Minimal, Everything. Four sizes, three backgrounds, top or bottom. The stamp sits on a scrim so it stays legible against a blown-out sky or a dark crawlspace, and what you see in the viewfinder is exactly what gets burned into the photo. METADATA THAT TRAVELS GPS latitude and longitude, altitude with the correct reference, image direction, positioning error, UTC timestamps and your photo description are all written into the file. Drop the photo into GIS software, a report, or a claims system and the position comes with it. YOUR LIBRARY STAYS YOURS Photos are kept inside Field Camera, not scattered through your camera roll — so clearing your camera roll never empties your library. Browse them as a grid or on a map, search by project, description or address, and export when you're ready. A copy can go to your camera roll too, if you want one. Walk a boundary or a pipeline and the coordinates, bearing and altitude update through the whole clip, then get composed into the file itself. Recording never waits on the stamp. Field Camera records clean and composes afterwards, so a slow moment can cost export time but never footage. Each recording keeps its untouched original, exactly like photos. SWIPE THROUGH YOUR LIBRARY Open a capture and swipe left or right to move through the rest, instead of backing out to the grid between each one. FEET OR METRES Altitude and GPS accuracy now follow your choice of units, defaulting to your region. Exported CSV files stay in metres — their column names say so, and other software expects it. A CLEANER SURVEY STAMP The Survey preset now carries exactly the five readings that earn their space: coordinates, accuracy, altitude, bearing and time. Tilt and UTC moved to the Everything preset.
