## What is Field Service Companion?

Field Service Companion helps you remember the people you meet in your ministry — and pick up every conversation right where it left off.

It's a private place for your return visits: who you spoke with, where they live, what you talked about, and when to come back. We help you remember the next conversation, ready when you are.

REMEMBER EVERY CONVERSATION
• Keep contacts with addresses, phone numbers, and the details that matter.
• Log each visit with notes, what you left behind, and the date.
• A dashboard surfaces who to see next, focused on the conversations worth continuing.

FIND YOUR WAY
• See your contacts on a map and hand off directions to Apple Maps or Google Maps.
• Add people by hand or import them from your phone's contacts.
• Set reminders so a promised return visit doesn't slip.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• Everything is encrypted on your device. The app works fully offline after sign-in.
• There is no server that can read your contacts or your notes — you hold the only key.
• Make a local, encrypted backup secured by a recovery phrase you keep.

MADE WITH CARE
• Clear and quick — most things are three taps away.
• Full VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and accessibility support.
• No ads.
• No tracking of the people you visit.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-19

Your monthly report now lives in the app.

The new Report tab brings it together: confirm who you studied with, add a note, and copy your numbers when you're ready. In the first days of a month it opens on the month that just ended — the one you're actually reporting.

Time tracking comes with it. Log time by category, set a goal for the month or the service year, and see at a glance whether you're on track. Your report shows whole hours, and spare minutes carry to the next month rather than disappearing. If you include your hours one month, the next month starts that way too. Don't report time? Turn the whole tab off in Settings and it steps out of the way.

When a new month begins, you'll see a short look back at the one that just ended.

Finding people is faster too — search your contacts, or slide the A–Z index down a long list. And when someone tells you they're not interested, their card steps aside: off your dashboard, quiet in your list, clearly marked on their own page.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-14

Adding someone is faster now.

The New Contact form asks for what you actually have at the door and keeps everything else out of the way. Name, address, phone — then tap "What did you talk about?" if you want to record the first conversation. Save stays within reach even while the keyboard is up.

Use my location fills the address from where you're standing, so you don't have to type it. The chip waits until your phone has a reading it can trust, and tells you if it can't get one rather than guessing.

Logging a visit starts with how it went. Pick the outcome, tap a phrase for what you talked about, and you're done — typing is optional.

Also: map pins now follow address edits. When you correct a contact's address their pin moves with it, and pins left in the wrong place by earlier edits fix themselves automatically.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-10

Small under-the-hood reliability improvements to the app's anonymous, privacy-first diagnostics. Nothing changes in how you use Field Service Companion.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-04

Import from My Time — bring your contacts, visit history, and placements across in one step (Settings → Import from another app). Everything is read on your device only.

• Undo any import with one tap — merged contacts go back exactly as they were.
• Imported contacts never count against the free contact limit.
• Fixes an issue where certain imported device contacts could fail to display.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-29
