They’re a decade ahead of you even though you started yours long before they did. You make what would be a great job into a semi decent one to have. ### 1/5 — Terrible. *2024-01-17* The main problem is that it crashes almost every photo I take. Then when I just use my camera and try to move the selected photos from my camera roll into field assist, the photos are scrambled so therefore is unusable. The app is garbage. ### 1/5 — Fix bugs!!! *2023-11-21, version 8.20.141* Non stop bugs in this app. Deletes your labeling. Deletes photos after taking them. Deletes sqft entered in and erases it. Deletes numbers entered on ft measured. It’s literally been over 8 months of these same issues with no fixes. It wasn’t put together by anyone that has ever been in the field does not flow correctly and does not work! Constantly having issues with it where it does not retain photos or information or logs you out in the middle of an inspection! Poor functionality. Straight up doesn’t work. All photos “uploaded,” but still won’t let you complete inspections. Here are some consistent issues (AFTER THE UPDATE). After uploading photos, you’re unable to use the roof drop-down menu unless you force close the app, which risks you losing information. Signs you out randomly. Doesn’t let you open jobs on your job list, crashes, and takes you to the sign in page after just having signed in. I sincerely hope Allstate has an out with this developer. The app has made our jobs harder by multiples, and do we get paid for our time wasted on the app? ‘Course not. ### 1/5 — This app is garbage *2023-07-25, version 8.19.123* Expected to drop at least 20 to 30 photos for no reason. Be willing to open and close this app 5 to 6 times before you get to work. The unexpectedly kicked out often. ### 1/5 — Useless *2023-07-21, version 8.19.123* Waste of time ### 1/5 — Trying to use this app for work is like trying to shave with a cheese grater. *2023-07-17* I’ve never used an app with more issues than FieldAssist. You can expect crashing every few photos you take and deleting entire inspections for no reason, but that’s just if you can even get the job to open. Anytime I get to a property for an inspection, I spend the first 20 minutes opening and closing the app, logging out and powering my phone off an on again, or sitting on the support line with people who have clearly never used the app before. Anytime you call the support line they’ll ask if you have a wifi connection. Why would I have wifi on a roof? It’s clear the developers have never actually set foot on a roof, or gone through an inspection. Rather than fixing the pre existing issues, they continue to add new useless features, and with each update the bugs get worse. So far there’s no sign of the developers making any changes anytime soon, therefore screwing over the inspectors trying to do their jobs, screwing over adjusters because necessary photos constantly get deleted, and homeowners are getting screwed over because valuable documentation is getting lost. The complete lack of effort to fix the app, and lack of communication is ridiculous and embarrassing. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2023-07-17* This app doesn’t function how it is intended to. It deletes photos, constantly crashes, doesn’t show all of the necessary tabs when you do finally get it to open. It’s just an all around bad app. The support team is good and they are always polite and that is the only good thing about the app. For the last week the app has been essentially useless and is costing me and many others valuable time. Please please please fix your app so that we can atleast open it up and process an inspection in a reasonable amount of time. ### 1/5 — Worst app I’ve ever used *2023-07-14* This is the most un efficient app ever created. Whoever developed this most likely never passed high school. App constantly crashes. It is set up to take you the most time ever to complete an inspection. I could go on and on for days about how terrible this app is. Please hire someone that knows what they are doing. Because who ever made this obviously doesn’t have a clue. And the reviews show it ### 1/5 — Someone at Allstate met a salesman *2023-07-14* There was no need for an app. Taking pics with a device and loading it onto a website worked perfectly and allowed you to have the photos for follow up. With having an app you lose all that. It fail’s constantly and the flow of it doesn’t work with doing an inspection. Someone met a salesperson but never talked to an adjuster ### 1/5 — Deleting and Whitewashing photos *2023-07-13* The app is deleting photos prior to uploading. Could be full inspections or half of the inspection…never know til your done and go to upload. Now you have to do 2 inspections! The app is also whitewashing photos to where almost nothing is visible sometimes! When it does it on white downspouts, you can see nothing. I know it the app manipulating the photo because it has never happened when using my camera outside of the app. This app has NEVER worked 100% since day 1! It would be a decent app if it just worked!! Wish I could put negative stars because it doesn’t even deserve one. ### 1/5 — Very weak and hard to use app *2023-07-13* This app constantly crashes on you, is not set up well for taking 90+ photos of a property, and will just indefinitely load while you might be up on a 120 degree roof trying to send in information to an adjuster. If they would set up the app more like Company Cam - it would be much better ### 1/5 — Garbage *2023-07-11* This is the worst app I’ve ever used. Unbelievably slow. Deletes photos, sometimes ENTIRE INSPECTIONS. Often missing essential buttons necessary for the job so you have to call them to get the to add it back to the job. Will randomly boot you out, force you to log back in. I cannot understand how it’s so bad. ### 1/5 — STOP ADDING USELESS FEATURES *2023-07-01* Why??? Whyyy?? This update is awful. Labeling photos is not as quick and easy, and these little things that keep getting added only slow the app down even more. Have none of the devs ever run an inspection? How about 8 when it’s 100 degrees outside? The updates make it slower and slower to complete an inspection. There’s two things that need to be priority. Accuracy and speed. My information deletes every day and the app is slower than it’s ever been. I don’t need to see the little pictures putting all my “left gutters” together , such a waste of a feature that bogs down my phone even further. Really these updates are just screwing over every person who’s out here working hard in the sun and are forced to use this app. PLEASE stop adding useless items and PLEASE help make inspections run faster and easier for the people who actually use this app. ### 1/5 — Claims Consultant *2023-06-29, version 8.18.84* This is the worst application I’ve ever used in my 15+ years of inspecting properties. It’s been broken since day 1 and they’ve done nothing to fix it. Only made it more complicated. This doesn’t have spots for certain things and is clearly built by somebody who’s never been on a roof, and the great part is I get in trouble because it deleted all my uploaded pics or didn’t have a spot for something. Do better. Even the new hover guided inspection is 10x better and it just came out ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-03-09, version 8.29.3* No effort is put into this app. It’s so insanely glitchy, it’s almost unusable. I feel bad for anyone else who has to use it. ### 1/5 — Fix the app *2025-11-19, version 8.28.34* The worst app I have ever had the displeasure of using. Having to use this for work is absolute torture, it has gotten me behind schedule more times that I can count. It’s impossible to log in without getting an error code and having to restart the app 8 times. Once you get logged in, expect it to crash on you at the worst possible time. At this point I’m leaving a review because I’m tired of dealing with issues every single day I have to run an inspection using this so called “app”. Please learn how to code. Thanks… ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-06-24* The worst thing about my job. Been FORCED to use this for 4 years and it’s always had issues. I’ve had used it on the iPhone 13-16 pro max. It’s always made my job take nearly double the amount of time it should take. I’m pretty sure the app developers have never used this in the field. I get constantly forced closed and the app obviously has a memory leak because the longer you use it, the slower it runs. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-03-27, version 8.25.2* This app crashes more then I4 drivers in Orlando. The work flow is great, and the app is simple to use. It's extra fun when you're on a roof and it's 12° and it begins to act up, add the CAD during your inspection so that you have to go back to the first page, and the crazy amount of hours you spend just trying to figure out what it's asking you to take pictures of. I have this app on my work iPhone as a backup device. After reading the reviews, I can’t say I will ever be using it on an Apple device. Huge W for Samsung tho. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2024-09-23* Will not upload photos in background. Pretty important if you like to get things done in a timely manner.
