## What is FieldCam?

FieldCam is the essential secure camera app built specifically for engineers, construction professionals, and field teams who require verifiable, tamper-proof photographic documentation.

Every photo captured with FieldCam is automatically stamped with critical verifiable metadata burned directly into the image, ensuring complete authenticity for site reports, inspections, and project tracking.

Key Features: • Automatic GPS Burn-in: Every photo displays precise latitude, longitude, and a reverse-geocoded physical address. • Timestamp Verification: Exact time and date are burned into the image, pulling from secure network time. • Cryptographic Tagging: A unique cryptographic hash code and QR code are added to every image, preventing tampering and proving authenticity. • Secure Workspace: Login required. Only authorized team members can capture and sync field documentation.

Important Note on Accounts: FieldCam is designed as an internal enterprise tool. Account creation is not available within the app. To obtain an account or request access for your company's engineering team, please contact our support channel. • Offline Capability: Continue capturing critical site photos even when deep in a construction site with no cell service. • Private Gallery: Keep your personal camera roll clean. FieldCam stores all site documentation in its own secure, organized gallery.

FieldCam eliminates disputes by providing indisputable proof of what happened, where it happened, and exactly when it happened.

Dedicated Gallery Album: Captured photos and videos are now organized and saved directly into a custom "FieldCam" folder in your device gallery for easier access.
Continuous Capture: Shutter button lockups have been resolved, allowing field inspectors to continuously capture photos and videos without waiting for background rendering to finish.
Refined Watermarks: Cleaned up clock and camera overlays by dynamically hiding blank address labels when location services are restricted or reverse-geocoding is unavailable.
Performance & Size Optimizations: Removed unused assets and modular code packages to reduce the app's installation size, making downloads faster and improving overall runtime stability

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-20

Release Notes:

Arabic Language Support: Fixed a critical issue where Arabic text in addresses was displaying as square boxes on certain iOS devices. Arabic text now renders natively and aligns perfectly.
Security Enhancements: Added offline verification and improved device-binding checks to ensure data integrity even in areas with poor internet connectivity.
Photo Optimizations: Significantly reduced photo file sizes to save device storage and reduce mobile data usage during sync.
UI Improvements: Optimized the layout of the photo overlay (QR code and text sizes) to prevent large black bars on budget devices.
