Sometimes it has saving issues to the cloud ### 3/5 — Used for 5+ years *2026-03-31* FieldEdge is a great concept, but some issues I have with it is mobile app capabilities and glitchiness to it’s functionality. I don’t know if they just want to send so much information every time I enter something it takes soo long. Also it’s too easy to delete items, I have to type out comments sometimes and they take precious time that cost my client’s money when I’m billing hourly. I wish you could attach links or videos, never been able to figure that out either… Hopefully someone sees this and looks in to it. I had to delete the app just for it to go back to normal. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Glitches, crashes *2026-08-07* This app is the worst even with the new update and I gotta say that made it even worse you lose pictures uploading times takes days sometimes even then when you’re finished a job and you got everything done somehow things get deleted or go missing and that’s not even the icing on the cake let’s say you’re working all all day in the hot sun. You just got done and you’re ready to go home and now you gotta get your job needs is signatures now you gotta sit there looking like an idiot while the phone is loading and loading and loading and loading it will take hours closing the screen going back in and it’s still freaking loading. This app is so annoying and I wish companies would stop using it. ### 1/5 — Has not worked properly since day one. *2026-07-09* This app has been a disappointment from first day I started working with it. There is always something not functional. Weather it is the payments page, which will not let me collect cc info which is the entire reason we are doing this, or the constant freezing up and showing a loading icon or the fact that I can not search for customer names when I am running after hour service calls. I will search for a customer and it will not find anything at all. Not even if I search for just the last name. So I add the customer and all of a sudden there is a matching existing customer that “matches your entry” ### 1/5 — Crashes a lot *2026-05-27, version 2026.10.15 (15)* This app crashes a lot and the only way to get it to work is to delete it and download it again. The only good thing that this app got going is that you can run credit cards via Bluetooth. Takes 3 steps to do one thing. When doing job summary, spell check is gone with update. We are a field of construction workers. Some of us don’t have the best education in spelling. Makes it hard for some techs and office to correct. Have been using for 2 yrs and still has a long way to go. Do better ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-02-27* The new update takes away ease of use while navigating through the menu because they’ve taken away the ability to swipe between screens. Also, the autocorrect feature within the app has been removed so sometimes uncaught misspells slip through. No swipe features. Search function in price book has to be exact, which is absurd. “Do you want to set this job to traveling?” pop up every time you open a job, even if you’re currently working a separate job. Why would I be traveling anywhere before closing or pausing my previous job? WORK SUMMARY HAS NO AUTO CORRECT AND THE UI KEEPS AUTO SCROLLING AWAY FROM THE TEXT SO I CAN’T SEE WHAT I’M TYPING. ABYSMAL. I shouldn’t have to write my summary in the notes app and copy and paste it. PLEASE FIX this. However, I can speak to Richard Manzo and his assistance and desire to work with me through some of the issues we were having to come to a resolution was admirable. I would highly recommend him. ### 5/5 — So many problems *2022-12-14* This app has lots of problems and it seems when FieldEdge tries to resolve the problem they end up making more problems. Was sent a survey today from FieldEdge but even the survey wasn’t working right. So frustrated with this company. Techs are able to stay connected to the office pretty easily. The new Proposal Pro feature makes selling easier because you can show a good-better-best option to a customer. The engineering & development team listens and implements improvements to build an even better system. It is not likely to be able to make a system that does not glitch sometimes as there are far too many different factors playing a big part in it with internet connection integrity being close to the top of the list.
