Living in Los Angeles, I’m surrounded by an incredible variety of plants, trees, flowers, and landscaping from all over the world. I’ve always been curious about what I’m actually looking at, but identifying plants used to require a lot of searching and guesswork.

This app makes it effortless. I simply take a photo, and within seconds it identifies the plant and tells me whether it’s native to my current location. What surprised me most is how accurate and educational it is. I’ve learned so much about the local ecosystem, drought-tolerant landscaping, pollinator-friendly plants, and the difference between native and introduced species.

Whether you’re a gardener, hiker, homeowner, parent, student, or just someone who enjoys being outdoors, this app turns every walk into a learning experience. It’s intuitive, fast, beautifully designed, and has completely changed the way I look at the natural world around me.
