Don’t understand why the genius’ over at FieldNET thought it would be good to make such a simple app so difficult. There’s nothing user-friendly about it anymore. It constantly crashes or freezes up extremely difficult to navigate. All around just a terrible app. Bring back the old one. It is objectively terrible. Nobody likes it.

After successfully using FieldNET and vri technology for the past 7years I’ve finally had enough. This new update has made it impossible to monitor and manage VRI zones quickly and efficiently. The new updated interface has added a multitude of additional steps to essentially do what was simple previously. 

When entering the field map to adjust vri zones there is no way to exit the drop list as the icon is inaccessible when you try to use it. 

End gun control is to the best of my knowledge unavailable currently. 

The polling doesn’t currently seem to work making it impossible to turn machines on or off.

After updating I now have no remote control of machines and am very very unhappy!
Users want a simple and reliable experience which was already available with the previous version.
Why change something that was working well and over complicate the app with additional reporting and tech tools that were accessible online via the desktop. The app control was meant to be simple and effective not a heap of garbage.

I would suggest not updating to the new version and wouldn’t recommend FieldNET to new customers based off our most recent experience.
