There’s nothing user-friendly about it anymore. It constantly crashes or freezes up extremely difficult to navigate. All around just a terrible app. Bring back the old one. This new update has made it impossible to monitor and manage VRI zones quickly and efficiently. The new updated interface has added a multitude of additional steps to essentially do what was simple previously. When entering the field map to adjust vri zones there is no way to exit the drop list as the icon is inaccessible when you try to use it. End gun control is to the best of my knowledge unavailable currently. The polling doesn’t currently seem to work making it impossible to turn machines on or off. After updating I now have no remote control of machines and am very very unhappy! Users want a simple and reliable experience which was already available with the previous version. Why change something that was working well and over complicate the app with additional reporting and tech tools that were accessible online via the desktop. The app control was meant to be simple and effective not a heap of garbage. I would suggest not updating to the new version and wouldn’t recommend FieldNET to new customers based off our most recent experience. Not user friendly at all! ### 1/5 — Version 7.0 *2020-07-18* Really dislike the update you did for 7.0, particularly on the iPhone XR,(not sure if this applies to everyone else). But your update minimized the entire field view. The pivot only reaches maybe halfway of what it’s supposed to be, therefor to set the degrees for your endgun’s makes it nearly impossible. The app is intuitive, easy to use as well as efficient. ### 3/5 — Needs landscape mode for iPad. *2018-05-07* Good improvements and new functionality, but needs landscape mode for iPad. Update, A few more things I’ve noticed: Needs a way to apply a restart after a low pressure shut down. As far as I can tell I have to change something and apply that, then go back to my original settings and reapply. Partial circle pivots that have a boundary degree range set have a full circle outline picture, and the time to complete a pass is goofed up (possibly halved). ### 2/5 — New update is worse *2025-05-02* The new update is not user friendly, and makes everything that was simple with the old version very complicated.
