It’s very simple. It’s easy to use when the app actually functions as it should. If you leave the app and go to your home screen or lock your phone or anything along those lines, you have to close out of the app and reopen it to get it to reconnect to your tools which is frustrating, especially when you don’t have the best Internet connection as the app also has issues loading when you have low signal, this app could be very good if the couple of bugs will work out, but they make using the Job Link tools frustrating. ### 2/5 — Login issues *2026-06-29, version 5.9.0* I can’t log in. Tried changing the password and still doesn’t work. Tried creating another account but can’t because the account that supposedly doesn’t exist is taking up my email. Sometimes in rural areas with no Internet connection or in city and the internet connection is down, guess what? no tools working! that sucks. It still has bugs and errors that cause it to crash or not allow you to get to the diagnostic screens to use your tools. The app seems like it’s been neglected. Used to be able to still use the app in areas with no service but not anymore because when it force logs you out you get a black screen of death when you try to get back into the app. ### 1/5 — Fix the credentials issue! *2026-03-22, version 5.8.1* I’m so tired of getting logged out of the app every five minutes while trying to pull a vacuum and decay test and then have to log back in and it’s ruined and I have to start all over again. This is costing me time and money and it needs to be fixed ASAP or I will be switching to a different brand. It’s been over two weeks and the problem still has not been resolved. This is completely unacceptable!!! ### 1/5 — Every update breaks it *2026-03-20* UPDATE: Now even after many submissions to customer support and no reply, updating my phone, deleting and installing app multiple times, I still have to login to the app multiple times a day. It seems that if the app is closed for 10-30 minutes it kicks you out and you have to login again. Unbelievably annoying to have to do this just to access the readings. Any time there is an update to “fix general issues”, the app does not function for a couple days. I work for a company with 25 tech that all use joblink tools. On 3-3-26 an update came through and I got calls from 8 different techs saying their app didn’t work and they couldn’t use their probes to complete their jobs. All on different phones, all tried deleting and downloading the app, and for some of them the app didn’t work all day. Now today it won’t work on my phone today. It worked yesterday somehow. There is also no reason this app should need cell service or an account of any type in order for me to access the probe readings. It should be able to give me readings purely locally on my device through the Bluetooth alone. The account services are nice, but not needed or used by the vast majority of techs. Please make this able to function without cell service and without logging into an account. ### 2/5 — Why do you log me out every time I close the app *2026-03-17, version 5.8.1* This is app is so annoying. First the buggy charting for changes over time with the graph. Now you guys update the app, and do you improve bugs and weird UI choices? No, you made me log in everyday now. Why does it log me out every time I close the app? Why does it just not open and just show me the loading screen until I delete it and redownload it? Downloads until it dies. I left one to update overnight with new batteries and phone on charger. Woke up, still downloading. I’ll tell you why because you are fishing for people's passwords. Someone can make a mistake and enter already used password in your system. One of our favorite updates is the ability to use a probe to read outside temperature—this has made our workflow even smoother and more efficient. The app overall is very reliable and well-designed. However, we’ve noticed one issue with the PDF reports: when using the manometer, the pressures for P1 and P2 show up correctly, but the differential (P1-P2) doesn’t always appear on the report. It would be great to see this fixed in a future update. I love using the app to show my customer what’s going on while I’m with them in the living room. It’s great to be able to email or text them a report of my findings. Especially useful when I’m doing rental property or commercial because the owner is usually not on site. Keep up the good work! ### 5/5 — Works as expected. *2021-07-09* To all the whiners about distance … first understand it’s wireless signal via Bluetooth be happy if you can get more than 25ft period. Other wireless probes lose connection between 20-50ft meanwhile this one still gets average 100ft depending on insulation or any other metals blocking signal. Set your expectations correctly. Secondly have not had any disconnect issues at all with the six probes I have. The app is fairly easy to use and understand. Wish they would the monthly fees where less 30 bucks for pro is a bit high for a single license use if you plan on using it for invoicing price should be closer to 5-6 bucks a month maybe 12 bucks the other plans need to be reduced as well. ### 5/5 — Definitely Worth It *2020-04-07* I’ve been using Fieldpiece products for almost 2 decades now, and I gotta say I’ve never been let down. As far as this app joblink probes I love it. All on one page, easy to read, always improving. Guys at work use testo and measure quick but I think it’s a let down compared to this app. If I had one complaint it’s that Fieldpiece could tell us more in advance what they’re working on. Bought a manometer 2 months ago and last month they announced a wireless one. I would have waited. ### 5/5 — Perfect to show customers *2020-02-15* When they see a old set of gauges they don’t understand what your showing them but when you can pull you phone out and show them a live look at what happens when u remove a dirty filter they don’t complain and say the filter is not the problem.
