Still not uploaded to desktop version by Friday. This is a regular flaw that stops me sending required reports. Fieldview is near instant. Come on Hilti. Was an easy 5 stars however the latest update has rendered the app unusable on IOS. Constant freezing and crashing, pictures disappear after adding them or are assigned to random pins. I have 30 files on my desktop that were full of 4 files each and had to make an excel spreadsheet just to try to keep up with our fiber optic jobs. Now it’s all here, I got my bore logs, picture proofs, footages, permits, right of ways, everything in one place, AND I can put geolocated pictures on my maps. It’s awesome. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that sometimes on the mobile app, the picture I placed doesn’t save. The photo itself is still in the project, but the tag on the map is gone. One tiny issue in an otherwise awesome app. I highly recommend this for any type of construction manager, I’ve never seen an app that can do what this one does. ### 3/5 — Pinch points *2026-01-16, version 1.134.1* Honestly hardest thing is uploading PDFs. It never wants to be in order. It’s the weirdest thing. Cover sheets end up in the middle of the electrical set. Preisliche Abstufungen nach Nutzer-Rolle ( Admin, Bauleiter, Monteur, Sub etc. ) werden nicht angeboten. Effektiv gibt es 2 Ansichten mit unterschiedlichem Funktionsumfang, direkt in der App (incl. Offline Support) und auf Fieldwire.com. Schmerzlich vermisse ich in der App die sehr guten Kalender Ansichten ( Kanban, Gantt u.a.), diese gibt es nur in der Web-Version. Auch fehlt eine Möglichkeit zur Synchronisation mit dem Apple Kalender. PDF-Reporte können nur erstellt werden, wenn man online ist. Es gibt keine Vorlagen für Formulare, dies würde den Start sicher erleichtern. Die Bildfunktion unterstützt kein Swipe zum nächsten Bild sofern man sich direkt in einem Task befindet. Beim Upload von PDF-Plänen rendert Fieldwire in der App diese offenbar zu einer Rasterdatei. Arbeitet man mit großen, detailreichen Plänen, sind Details bei großem Zoomfaktor nur noch schwer auszumachen-ein wirkliches Ärgernis.
