### 4/5 — Not bad

*2026-08-12, version 3.35.30*

It’s okay for the most part. I was really enjoying it but we’re low income so I can’t afford to pay past the free trial. It would be nice if there was a free version, like finch, where you could still do things instead of completely locking you out. Or at least have a program like some other apps (finch, etc) for those who can’t afford it

### 3/5 — Enjoy it, but having some technical difficulties

*2026-08-08, version 3.35.30*

I love the app and the game, but the game doesn’t load the first time I open the app. It takes 2-3 times before I can successfully open the game and it’s really frustrating.

Is there a way to fix that issue? I really enjoy the game and I would love to continue playing it, I just don’t want to keep exiting and opening the app over and over again.

### 4/5 — Love it!

*2026-06-24, version 3.35.29*

Fig is such a cute little character, and I love that their journey is in real time, and it doesn’t throw all the features at you at once, it lets you get used to them first before introducing new ones so you don’t get overwhelmed! Haven’t unlocked everything yet but I love it so far, this app has so much potential

### 3/5 — Won’t load.

*2026-04-17, version 3.35.23*

When I’ve downloaded the app it will not load & keeps kicking me out of the app. I’m pretty disappointed because I was looking forward to exploring it.

### 2/5 — Good idea - subscription not ideal

*2025-11-13, version 3.35.16*

I was on for minutes before it asked for a £6 monthly subscription, simply is too much when money can be a stress and saving would be a habit to manage.
It’s aim is great and with a bit of work a development, as well as less delays between new habits would be great. I don’t take meds but struggle with sleep, I wish I could pick my first reminder. Either way unless the cost decreased I couldn’t pay for it. Graphics are great though.

### 2/5 — Cute but paywall

*2025-11-06, version 3.35.16*

The game is cute, it has calming music and I thought I found a game to help but you can only get to the logging medications before the entire game is locked behind a monthly paywall, not ideal for someone who doesn’t have the money for a subscription. Kinda disappointed :(

### 3/5 — Uuuhhhhhh

*2025-09-27, version 3.35.8*

It’s been great! Very nice graphics and lots of fun! Only problem is that when I go talk to Fig, sometimes it stays zoomed in on him and I can’t get go back unless I get off the app completely. And now it has completely started me from the beginning and I was over a month in 😑

### 4/5 — Love it

### 4/5 — Fig is Amazing!!

*2025-06-09, version 3.34.4*

I cannot believe how beneficial I’ve found Fig in the month I’ve had him as my Buddy.

I’ve had other apps that do meds reminders, or build habits for depression and ADHD, but they really focus on WHY we do the things that we do, which isn’t necessarily the issue. Wanting to keep using the app, remembering to check in, these are where the traditional apps fail, whereas the genuine connection built with Fig means this happens pretty naturally.

Even with the current minimal reminders and integration, I’ve been more on top of my tablet taking, my food intake and also making some notes about my mood.

The only things I’d like to see:
Meds integration into Apple Health,.
Food and water reminders similar to the meds reminders.

### 4/5 — Amazing & Fun

*2025-05-30, version 3.34.3*

Fig is a great & fun way to keep on top of your medication, it affects fig like it would you. It also has a beautiful way of keeping track of your overall emotions/mood, it also helps track your sleep and if you ate breakfast/lunch/dinner, the best thing is you don't need to remember what you ate just what meals you did eat. I think Fig could be more interactive so you could have conversations with him but overall it's a great app that I use every day!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Loading

*2026-04-18, version 3.35.23*

It never loaded. Got stuck on one screen

### 1/5 — doesn’t even open

*2026-04-18, version 3.35.23*

the app actually refuses to load if a new user doesn’t agree to allow app tracking. I have waited for about 15 minutes pre/after redownloading and deleting.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-02-21, version 3.35.20*

They framed it as a friendly free tool only to then cut off all access if you don’t subscribe and spend money, not helpful because it isn’t accessible to everyone. Useless to anyone who can’t afford another subscription in their lives, for someone seeking help it was quite disappointing.

### 1/5 — Stuck so can't use it

*2026-01-24, version 3.35.19*

I really want to try this app properly because it sounds so helpful but I'm stuck where he asks me to find his spaceship right at the beginning. It takes me to the crashed spaceship wreckage and nothing I do will progress me forward in the narrative or make any change

### 1/5 — subscription

*2026-01-09, version 3.35.18*

I was enjoying the game for a while, but it wouldn't let me continue after making the do-maker without paying a subscription.

### 1/5 — Immediate paywall

*2025-10-24, version 3.35.15*

I wasted my time getting introduced to the game and then putting in my medication only for there to be an immediate paywall. You can’t use it unless you want to pay 8 dollars a month. Just for a reminder to take your meds..

### 1/5 — Nope.

*2025-10-22, version 3.35.11*

First time I went through, the app broke at one point, just as I was putting in my meds information. I deleted the app and reinstalled. I got past the medicine part, and immediately hit a paywall. Like I barely started this and it’s asking for $8 a month. Sure there’s a free trial, but why invest time in an app that is supposed to be uplifting but only for those who can afford it? Unfortunately, money in this economy is a stressor for many, me being one of those people. As a result, this app is not at all useful. Pass.

### 1/5 — Pay block

*2025-09-14, version 3.35.3*

I forgot that no mental help assistance is free.

### 1/5 — “Help” as long as you can pay

*2025-08-25, version 3.35.3*

You have to subscribe to it, you get into it a bit and then it suddenly springs on you that you have to pay a subscription. It’s kind of sad that a self help app is asking for money, create a free option at least with adds. I understand you need to make money but this feels as though you’re taking advantage of vulnerable people.

### 1/5 — It's only a trial

*2025-05-30, version 3.34.3*

The “game” is very simplistic once you hit a few days they block the app unless you buy the monthly subscription of $7

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-05-29, version 3.35.27*

This is a great distraction from having terminal cancer and this is an escapism. Love ya Fig. 💜

### 5/5 — I Love it!!

*2026-05-24, version 3.35.27*

Fig is just the cutest thing and the quality of the game is so good. You can’t play it all day, sometimes Fig is busy which makes it so you aren’t always on the app (I think). It’s so cool to see how the asteroid grows and changes as something new happens everyday in this app and that’s one of the things I love about it. I wish there were more mood options or like a small textbox for you to put your emotion into one word. Yes you get to have a journal type thing (or a “Captains Log” as Fig calls it) so you can put all your emotions there but there is a spot for you to click emotions to describe what you’re feeling, again I just wish there were more options for that part. Aside from that I absolutely love the app and find myself checking in with Fog everyday just to see what he’s up to. I love the fact that he’s so funny

### 5/5 — Emotional

*2026-05-08, version 3.35.27*

After meeting Fig was awesome, and then the spaceship crash to be very cool and very positive.

### 5/5 — Bbyblueyes

*2026-04-30, version 3.35.26*

Keeps me on track

### 5/5 — An Entertaining Answer To Depression!

*2026-04-24, version 3.35.25*

Fig is a very immersive way to tackle depression! The way it’s designed draws you into improving your state. You feel included and involed. It encourages medicine taking, exercising, eating regularly, etc.

### 5/5 — Million star game

*2025-11-04, version 3.35.16*

I just wish there were other things to track like Water and stuff like that

### 5/5 — Bad MH? Good App!

*2025-09-12, version 3.35.3*

AuDHD/ADHD/Autism? Depression? Anxiety? This is the app for us!!! And I’m enjoying using the app. It’s too cute 🥰 and it doesn’t ask too much of you! So that it feels like a relief, not a chore! It’s like having an emotional support animal that won’t die if you struggle for a few days, and it doesn’t make you feel guilty. Also it allows for journalling and the medication scheduling/reminders it makes remembering taking your meds fun!

### 5/5 — It’s only a trial

*2025-07-08, version 3.34.4*

It was fun at first but after a few days of using it you have to pay $7.99 a month to keep using it

### 5/5 — Cool concept

*2025-05-09, version 3.33.4*

And the game-ish way to build bound between fig and user in order to help users tracking their mental health routine as well as helping fig is a cute lovely way to give the users more motivation to help themselves

### 5/5 — So cute and well thought out

*2025-05-09, version 3.33.4*

Wow, it’s so cute and well done. All the little names and vocabulary the devs came up with are cute. Fig is charming and sweet. It’s kinda wild how much personality fits into the little guy. I look forward to checking in with him.
