### 2/5 — Where is the search option?!?

*2026-01-16, version 3.23*

I currently use this app to manage my character in a current campaign I’m participating in. My absolute 100% biggest complaint is the lack of a search bar when adding spells and equipment to a character.
Rating the app two stars because this core function is missing. Other than that massive and unignorable omission in the UI, this app is pretty good and easy to use for keeping track of stats and making rolls.

But seriously, bring a search option to the UI and I’ll eagerly bump my rating to 5 shiny stars. Until then, it’s just a two star app for me.

### 4/5 — Updates

*2025-03-08, version 3.23*

I wish there was updates with recent editions of dnd so that I can tell more what characters are able to do

### 4/5 — Vision Pro support

*2025-03-05, version 3.23*

Love the app, it just needs Vision Pro support. I don’t need any new features, just normal use would be great!

### 4/5 — Would be 5* but…

*2024-11-05, version 3.23*

This is an awesome app but one thing has me perplexed. The android version conditions is not the same as the iOS. iOS app is very limited compared to the android version we need an update that fixes this.

I’m currently having to have my dm on an android phone fix my conditions since I can’t do it from my iPhone.

### 2/5 — No updates in a while

*2024-10-28, version 3.23*

I would like to do edits in my Vision Pro. But it doesn’t work.

### 5/5 — Best D&D App I’ve Found

*2024-10-06, version 3.23*

Despite a bit of confusion in the beginning this is a great app, organizing all of your characters is easy and using the sheets during any campaign is even easier as well as sending over the character sheet to the dm or xml file

If anyone new to fight club is reading this and is confused, look up “Fight Club 5e Reddit the archivist” you can either message the archivist on twitter or find the unofficial discord that has the compendium file you need that has all spells, classes, races, etc

### 4/5 — Great App Needs Work

*2024-09-25, version 3.23*

Great app with A LOT of useful information! Needs a way to log in and out of your accounts, I can’t log into my upgraded account on my phone because it automatically uses my other emails!

### 5/5 — The best

*2024-08-10, version 3.23*

I’ve used a lot of dnd apps to keep track of my characters, but this one is leagues above all of those. It’s completely free if you only make one character, and only 3 bucks for infinite characters. You do have to download some files online to get all the 5e content on it, but it’s super easy and free. You can also add anything you homebrew into the app using the in-app interface, so you don’t have to learn how to code or anything. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but it’s so nice once you get used to it. I particularly love the ability to add creature stat blocks to your character sheet. It makes playing Druids and having familiars so much easier.

### 5/5 — To Avid DND Players - USE THIS!

*2024-07-19, version 3.23*

I have been using 5e Fight Club for ~5 years, and have found time and time again it is the best DND app out there. It is not perfect, but it is incredibly customizable, and if you’re able to find some .json files online with all the 5e content… then you can easily import them and have access to all the 5e content your mind desires, including homebrew content!

All my friends have cycled through multiple 5e apps and systems and everyone I know who has 5e Fight Club sticks with it. Surely, it is not a perfect app and it has some quirks, but it is the most reliable, clear, and handy app I’ve found. It includes a compendium and rules reference, and for a small small price (paid it years ago) you can have unlimited characters.

There is also a companion DM application which works with this one.

10/5!

### 5/5 — Best Character Sheet App

*2024-04-23, version 3.23*

Small learning curve, but the best character sheet app I’ve ever seen. All the relevant rules and rolls right at your fingertip.

### 5/5 — My review of fightclub

*2024-04-19*

Fightclub is a great source of dnd information, building characters, customizing monsters, all for free! (One exception but I’ll get to that in a bit) you need to download files of info onto the app, which can easily be found online. You can make one character that is stored on Fightclub for free, or pay only 2.99$ to be able to make as many characters of you want! It’s a one time purchase too. I’ve been using it for awhile now, and I’ve encountered no glitches, or bugs, and I haven’t noticed any other issues either. The app is also very easy to use! After downloading it, it took me about 20 seconds to figure out how to use it. For making characters, that took me a bit to figure out, not that I didn’t understand how it worked, but the way it is constructed was new and a bit intimidating, but after I made one, I wanted to make more. When it comes to making characters, the app is very freeform about it, so it’s up to the creator to stay within the rules, but that also means that nothing is left out. Honestly, I think that fightclub is better than say, DNDBEYOND. This is just my personal opinion, and DNDBEYOND definitely had more features like maps and campaigns, but fightclub is cheaper and costs nothing to make one character with all of the options, if you have the file. I say try both and see what works for you!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Non funziona

*2026-05-12, version 3.23*

La funzione del compendium non funziona, quindi trovo pressoché inutile il resto dell’applicazione.

### 1/5 — Won’t let me past payment method

*2025-12-28, version 3.23*

I try to put my information in and it won’t let me install. Completely useless. Idk if it’s Apple or this app, but I’m getting really tired of App Store as it’s practically trash. Practically nothing of use, zero game choices. Totally temped to go android. All it’s taking is one decent device to make me switch.

### 1/5 — Deleted everything

*2025-11-11, version 3.23*

Some recent update deleted all of my custom content. Completely gone. Should be 0/5, was 5/5 before this. Desperately disappointing

### 1/5 — Problem

*2025-07-23, version 3.23*

This app is very basic and doesn’t really integrate with anything

### 1/5 — Sorry

*2025-06-22, version 3.23*

Entirely bloody useless

### 1/5 — Non funziona…

*2025-02-22, version 3.23*

Purtroppo quando apro questa applicazione desktop non succede nulla.
Peccato, sarebbe un piacere usare la comodità del desktop per aggiornare i dati che posso trasferire sulle app mobile (che sono ottime)

### 1/5 — Annoyed!!

*2025-01-23, version 3.23*

Got the app to play which has been amazing! Trialed it first and then paid the £2.99 apparent one off payment to create a new character. Changed phones since then and now it’s saying I didn’t pay for it when I know I did!

### 1/5 — Base book, appears you have to upload any expansions your self

*2024-08-10, version 3.23*

Never really got into it. Stopped when I saw I couldn’t even select Mountain Dwarf without some sort of up load. Gotta be honest, I don’t have the patience for an incomplete app. I’ll find another.

### 1/5 — No response

*2024-07-05, version 3.23*

I’ve been using this app for years. I’ve recommended this app to all my friends who play D&D 5e… now I regret that, I’ve had the same problem with this app for months. IT WILL NOT BACK UP TO ICLOUD OR TO MY PHONE. My iCloud is not full nor is my phone. I add new characters and edit them. Nothing gets backed up. I’ve reached out to the developer in ever way I can find and still no response and no fix.

### 1/5 — it’s ok

*2023-07-06, version 3.23*

the app charges a one time fee for a new character but they don’t have a full compendium they at missing a whole lot of creatures the in my most recent campaign we fought a champion but that is not one the apps compendium. one of the items my dm was trying to give me was not on the app it needs work and they need to update it to add new items and fan items

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Taco

*2026-08-04, version 3.23*

It is amazing

### 5/5 — App Ottima per il gioco

*2026-07-15, version 3.23*

Da quando ho quest’app non ho più bisogno di portarmi fogli, foglietti, sopratutto mi ha permesso di creare le mie razze ed esportarle per i miei giocatori

### 5/5 — Versatile & Reliable

*2026-05-27, version 3.23*

I have been using Fight Club for 3 years now and love it. It may not be as intuitive for the uninitiated as D&D Beyond, I don’t know, but it is far less annoying and money-gouging. Fight Club is simple and straightforward for building characters. I very much appreciate the creators’ willingness to be compatible with multiple compendiums that can be found online. If you are creating anything other than the standard original characters, for example using An Elf & An Orc Had a Baby or unofficial material, you will need to finagle things to make sure the math works, but once you’re set up, you’re good to go. Great app. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Won’t find better

*2026-04-26, version 3.23*

An amazing character app that has a fantastic community support. i keep seeing reviews where ignorants bawl about how content is missing. hello, smooth brains, you’re demanding licensed content for an unlicensed app.

To the mouth breather who said there is no search: USER ERROR. there’s a magnifying glass always available in each category. Stop playing D&D. Go back to chewing on your palm so you don’t swallow your tongue. The world is too complicated for you.

### 5/5 — IT’S GREAT!

*2026-03-09, version 3.23*

I’ve been using this app for about 5 years now and I love it. It does everything I need it to do after paying a small fee I can create unlimited characters. I have access to the base classes, races, spells feats, etc. But the great thing is that you can update everything adding all the official materials to the SRD foundation.

It’s completely customizable and you can save files for backing up or swapping out rule sets. My only gripe is that the app still doesn’t get the multiclassing rules for spell slots right but I can adjust that manually.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-02-22, version 3.23*

I’ve been using this for a while now to keep track of my characters, it’s simple and pretty easy to use with a easy way to add things to the compendium when I’m playing homebrew games. I will say some of the functions are a Little hard to use and take a minute to figure out, but overall? Amazing work

### 5/5 — Feed

*2025-08-12, version 3.23*

I like fish

### 5/5 — Best

*2025-03-13, version 3.23*

Honestly my favourite dnd character app. I’ve downloaded it and paid, for a few devices, and I always recommend to friends. Simply find an xml source for the compendium and you’ve got everything.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2025-02-18, version 3.23*

I bought this app years ago when I started playing D&D. I had a falling out with DNDBeyond and this was the app that was waiting for me. I relearned how to update the compendium and with the community who are very helpful with adding sources to this app, it’s become such an essential part of my D&D experience.

### 5/5 — Hands down the best tool to use for D&D

*2025-02-06, version 3.23*

This app has been amazing throughout my entire time using it. It’s easy to use and the best tool around for new players (once you have set it up with the files off the internet)

I often have games with multiple groups of people and the ones who use this app pick up the game faster.

There are so many features that make it great. I would love to be able to add folders for characters though as I am now accumulating a lot 😂
