### 5/5 — The only boxing app you need

*2024-05-18*

Really good. Keeps your scores and has older fights you can score. Works great. Keep up the good work!

### 4/5 — ¡Great!

*2024-04-09*

It's my favorite app to take my own fight count! It only has one problem that I hope they can solve soon, at the time of writing a couple of "notes" to take a more precise order of the cards, and you finish writing it you can't lower the page to reread the notes. I hope you can solve it soon so that it becomes the best application of your style!

### 5/5 — Easy to use!

*2024-03-24, version 3.5*

Nice clean interface, really intuitive to use. Cheers!

### 5/5 — A must have

*2023-10-14, version 3.2*

All you need to score fights, clean UI, simple to use and all the features required.

A couple of suggestions I would like to see though. Would like an option to add fights to a folder or an event to keep them organised and also have the option to re-order fights as they appeared on the card.

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2022-12-21*

Works great for scoring fights with a good selection of classic fights dating back to 1910 my only complaint is a bug in custom fights when you try to mark the fight as a rematch or trilogy you can’t create the fight im sure if you go into the app and try it you will see what i’m talking about other than that app is 5 stars very easy to use👍👍

**Developer response:** Hi Tony! Thanks for the kind words, I’ve been trying to reproduce the issue that you mention around creating a custom rematch or trilogy fight but for whatever reason I’ve been unable to. If you’re still experiencing this, are you able to email me at fightscores@garethdjones.com with your phone and OS details? Thanks!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-12-10*

Love this app. No frills or empty calories. Just a really good overall app. Great job

### 5/5 — Fight Scores

*2021-01-03, version 3.0.1*

This is by far THE best Boxing scoring app available. So many small features that really add to the overall quality. It would be great if it was possible to add a “retired” option for the fight outcome choices.

### 5/5 — The best

*2020-10-18*

Best app available for scoring boxing. Love the addition of classic fights. Notes section for jotting down stuff. Big fights are all ready to go when you open the app. Must have for fight fans.

### 5/5 — Good way to keep track of fights

*2020-03-03*

Best score app. It saves all the fights you score. You can have fight notes. It also lets you record final results. Also gives you a up to date schedule of major fights that are coming up that week.

### 5/5 — Brilliant App with Minor Issues

*2019-02-28, version 2.5.1*

The minor issues:

• It’d be helpful to have three round bouts so you could score an amateur bout.

• I’d prefer an option for a second bout, or a rematch, so I don’t have to type 2 after the fighters name — example: “Gennady Golovkin 2”.

• I’d also enjoy a ‘light theme’, giving the scorer a brighter view if they preferred.

Otherwise, it is a great app that trumps all other scorecard apps. 👍🏻

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2018-11-12, version 2.5*

Nice, clean UI. Easy to use. Automatically loads current fights when selecting to add.

One bug would be the save to camera roll option causes the app to crash. Also the scheduled upcoming fights are not listed.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-10-31, version 2.5*

Great app makes it very easy to score fights. One improvement would be to judge 3 round fights too for amateur bouts.

### 5/5 — The best scorecard app

*2018-07-29*

This is hands down the best boxing scorecard app out here and I’ve tried most of them. Easy to search old scores, add notes and score round by round. I love how all your fights are sorted by date and it’s awesome for boxing nerds who want to keep a record of their cards. The developer is super responsive too if you have any questions or issues.

The one negative I’d say is that it only works if you have cell service-wifi as the data isn’t stored on your phone and once in awhile the server the app is on will go down and you can’t access your old scores (which can be scary) and create new ones. But the developer is very communicative during those times and usually gets things back up and running quickly.

### 5/5 — The best boxing scorecard app!

*2018-06-18*

This is by far the best of the boxing scoring apps I’ve tried. It allows you to record official result and has a notepad to make notes. Keeps an archive both on the app and on the website. Has most fight cards already built in but it’s very easy to add your own cards for more obscure fights. Admin very responsive too.

### 1/5 — Stopped Working

*2024-07-27, version 3.5*

Loved this app but it’s no longer working. 😔

### 1/5 — Litterally cant match the password

*2022-05-01*

I tried over 20 attempts to match my created password on create profile I do not regret the 1 star shouldnt even get that!

**Developer response:** Hi there, I'm so sorry to hear that you had this trouble. I've been trying but so far have been unable to reproduce this issue. If you're still interested, I'd really appreciate it if you could email me at fightscores@garethdjones.com and let me know which version iPhone you're using, and I can get you all set up that way. Regardless I'm going to improve the UX on that screen.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2022-01-13*

Can’t even get pass the create an account screen I put the SAME password on both slots and it still says does not match

**Developer response:** Hi there,
I’m sorry you’re having issues setting up an account. It seems to be an isolated issue as I’ve seen other people signing up successfully over the last few days. I’ll work on improving the UX on this screen to allow people to view their password in plain text and manually verify that the passwords match.

In the meantime, if you’re still open to it, I’d invite you to give it another go and if you run into any more more issues feel free to contact me at
fightscores@garethdjones.com.

Thanks again!

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2018-10-14*

This is actually a good app in theory if only it worked. This app just simply does NOT Function for me. I ask the Developer if i pay the $2 to purchase the app will it actually work?

### 1/5 — THE WORST

*2018-05-27*

Useless app. Never has fights, and it’s impossible to add a fight. FRUSTRATING!!

**Developer response:** Hi Ghandi, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience with Fight Scores. I'd love to discuss your frustrations in further detail so that I may try to address them for you and for future users. Please feel free to contact me on twitter @fightscoresapp or at fightscores@garethdjones.com.

### 1/5 — Major Bugs

*2018-04-29*

This app would be the Best Boxing Score Card App. Only if it actually worked! Developer needs to do some major work on this!

**Developer response:** Hi La Rana, I'd love to talk through your problem with the app in more detail and find out what device you're having this problem on. I recognize and admit that there may be some bugs that I've missed, but to my knowledge nothing that should stop it from working. So I'd be interested in looking into this further. Please feel free to contact me on twitter @fightscoresapp or at fightscores@garethdjones.com.

### 1/5 — Working?

*2018-01-06*

I just downloaded this, signed up for an account, and have added one or more fights multiple times, each time receiving a notification that they’ve been added successfully, yet the Upcoming tab remains blank. Not sure latest version works at all.

**Developer response:** Hi there, I'm so sorry to see that you've been having this issue. I'm unable to recreate this problem so would be happy to discuss it in more detail, please email me at fightscores@garethdjones.com and hopefully we can work together to find a solution. Thanks!

### 3/5 — Good in comparison

*2019-12-01*

This app is better than the other scoring apps available, but is not good if you compare to other apps you would use day-to-day. For instance buttons may appear half off the screen and some text is not readable due to dark colours or is misspelled.

You can only select fights which are scheduled for today which seems strange; there needs to be a feature to view all upcoming and past fights.

**Developer response:** Hi Toby,
Thanks so much for the feedback! I take every review very seriously and wanted to let you know that your feedback was taken into consideration while I was working on improvements to Fight Scores.

- Much of the UI has been rewritten so any issues you may have had with button positioning with certain screen sizes should no longer be a problem.
- There's now a light mode option available from the settings screen. Due to the aforementioned rewrite, I've also redesign large chunks of the UI so hopefully any text lacking contrast is no longer a problem. I generally aim to hit accessibility standards, but may have missed in some areas, so let me know if you're still having issues.
- Regarding misspellings, I can only apologise, hopefully they're fixed by now, I take pride in those sorts of details so am annoyed at myself about this one.
- Regarding the current and upcoming fights, I try to add all the notable fights for the coming weekend and then the main events for cards scheduled two months or so in the future. The week of the fights I then fill out the undercards for those main events. I tend to remove fights a week after they've happened as their popularity is severely reduced. I've added a "classics" section for older fights too. This seems to work for the majority of users but please let me know if you'd like to see smaller bouts stick around beyond a week.

Thanks!

### 3/5 — Good but still with bugs

*2016-10-04, version 2.0.1*

If you continue without making the account, the added fight doesn’t appear. There should be an area to communicate to the developer rather than giving bad reviews here.

Worth to download.

### 4/5 — Question

*2024-12-09, version 3.5*
