## What is FightMap?

Find fights. Get tickets. Show up.

The best fights aren't on pay-per-view. Every weekend there are cards in gyms, armories and rec centers all over the country — amateur and small-show pro, kids on their third fight and veterans on their thirtieth. FightMap puts every one of them on a single map.

FOR FANS

• See every combat-sports event near you — boxing, MMA, BJJ, wrestling, Muay Thai, kickboxing, karate, taekwondo and judo.
• Browse the map or the list. Filter by sport, date and distance, from 5 to 100 miles.
• Open any event for the full fight card — fighter names and records — plus venue, date and directions.
• Follow fighters and promotions. If you want, we'll notify you the moment a fighter you follow is booked on a card or a promotion you follow announces an event. Nothing is sent unless you ask for it.
• Buy tickets in two taps with Apple Pay or card. The price the promoter set is the price you pay. No service fees, no scalpers.
• Your tickets live in your FightMap wallet as QR codes. Flash your phone at the door and walk in. No printouts, no will-call line.
• Holding a ticket? Get a reminder the day before and when doors are about to open, and hear first if the time, venue or status of your event changes.

FOR PROMOTERS

• List a card in minutes — tiers, prices, fight card, banner image.
• Reach fans who are already looking for fights, instead of shouting into an algorithm. Fans can follow your promotion and get told the moment you publish a card.
• Get paid directly: payouts go straight to your bank through Stripe. FightMap keeps a flat 10% — no fees added on top of your ticket price, nothing charged to the fan.
• Scan tickets at the door with your phone. Green check = they're in. Track sales and check-ins live from the dashboard, with a daily sales digest, sell-out alerts and account alerts on your phone.

Whether you're cornering, competing or just want to sit close enough to hear the corner — never miss a card again.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-09-15*

Wow what a way to find a fight near me! This rocks!!!

### 5/5 — Finally, an app for fight fans!

*2026-09-14*

Really cool app if you’re into MMA or boxing. You can see fights happening all over the world, which is such an original idea. And a plus, you can get tickets directly on the app from the promoters. I haven’t seen any other app that does this and it’ll be super helpful finding smaller local fights that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to find. Definitely worth a download if you’re a fight fan!

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-01

Follow fighters and promotions — and get told when they're booked.

• Follow any fighter from a fight card, or any promotion from its new page. Choose "Notify me" and you'll get a notification the moment that fighter is booked or that promotion announces a card. It's off unless you turn it on.
• Holding a ticket? You'll get a reminder the day before and when doors are about to open, and you'll hear right away if your event's time, venue or status changes.
• Every promotion now has its own page: logo, links, Follow button and every upcoming card in one place. Tap "Presented by …" on any event to open it.
• New in your profile: Following (manage who you follow), Notifications (turn each kind on or off) and Inbox (everything we've sent you, even if notifications are off).
• Widen your search from the bottom of the list when there's not much on nearby.
• Bigger, sharper event artwork — cards and event pages now show the full 16:9 banner.
• The back, share and menu buttons on event pages are easier to see over bright photos.
• On the map, the "my location" button is in the bottom corner on every device, and switching back to Nearby brings the map home to your area.

Promoters: fans can follow your promotion, and you'll get a daily sales digest, sell-out alerts, an event-day check-in reminder, and a heads-up if Stripe needs anything from your account. The banner picker now shows the exact crop fans will see, with recommended image sizes.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-26

This one's about making the app easier to use, not adding to it.

• Tap anywhere on an event card to open it, not just the button.
• The List/Map switch moved up into the toolbar, so you see more fights per screen without scrolling.
• Sport tags, prices and ticket counts are easier to read — several were genuinely hard to make out against their background colour.
• Bigger, easier-to-hit +/− buttons when you're choosing how many tickets you want. • Larger text sizes are properly supported now. If you've turned text up in iOS Settings, buttons and totals no longer get cut off.
• Show/hide password buttons are now labelled for VoiceOver.
• Clearer messages throughout: errors look like errors, confirmations look like confirmations, and you'll never see raw database jargon when something goes wrong.
• When there's nothing on near you, you can widen the search with one tap instead of hunting for the filter.
• Events without artwork now show the sport on the card instead of a placeholder.
• Event descriptions now read the way the promoter wrote them — paragraphs are spaced apart instead of running together in one block.

Promoters: the same readability and messaging fixes run through your dashboard, event editor, ticket tiers and door scanner, and the description box in the event editor is now big enough to write a real pitch in without scrolling inside four lines.
