Pointless. ### 1/5 — The update ruined it. *2026-05-26, version 5.07* I’m a professional photographer and I’ve used this app for a couple of years because I loved how it mimics film. BUT I recently updated the app and everything is worse. For starters, it forces me to log in each use and acts as if I haven’t paid. When I finally get re-logged in (imagine doing this each time you want to take a picture) I’ve taken photos that immediately disappear and don’t save anywhere in the app or my camera roll. The interface is less intuitive and the quality of the photos is worse. SO bummed because it was my favorite. This app is not only a trip down memory lane to all the wonderful films I can remember shooting the cameras and the lenses, but also a wonderful place to send inspiring photographers that only have a smart phone. And for everybody else , there is simply a lot more control here than in the native camera apps. Paid the lifetime subscription and it’s totally worth it! Last week I had a slight problem with filters not showing in the iPhone’s photo gallery and emailed them, they solved the issue after a few exchanged emails.
