What gives? ### 1/5 — Doesnt download at all *2021-01-11* Paid for nothing ### 1/5 — Insecure software - Avoid *2020-05-08, version 1.40* When installing the helper app on my Mac, received pop up from Apple warning this was insecure software. Have deleted from systems and devices. When I received the warning the helper app was asking for a hole in my firewall and control of Systems Preferences. Avoid. ### 1/5 — - All ads on the site you are sent to, to connect to computer *2018-11-19, version 1.40* This is the kind of app that has made the App Store a great tool for scamming users. After you buy the app, you open it and click add computer. It takes you a page that says you need to download help software. You click the link, and it goes in circles back to the page with the link and trying to sell you other more software. Manually going to the site, I finally found a menu with 10 links that looked promising, with titles like “The computer software, for mobile software applications. You select any like and it sends you page with links to vendors from Amazon to Target to Just Answers. Is this why the app only costs .99? The Why does description imply that you rcan access other computers on your network from your iPad directly? This kind of experience represents the worst of internet commerce today. Excepting Amazon Prime, and especially e-bay stores, it’s all clicks. I started using the Internet in 1999 when the emphasis was on information sharing, and communication. Now, like this app, it’s about even purchased apps filled with advertisements and tricks in free apps that say, “if you want that feature you need to buy the “pro” version. ### 1/5 — Very poor *2018-10-27, version 1.40* Don’t buy... you cannot find your computer. You cannot add manually!!! Crazy. Stupid... No help or support... ### 1/5 — Funktioniert nicht mehr *2018-10-10* Seit ein paar Tagen funktioniert das Programm überhaupt nicht mehr. Egal, was man macht oder versucht, es kommt immer die Meldung „Verbindung fehlgeschlagen“. Ich weiß allerdings nicht, ob es mit dem Update auf IOS 12 zusammenhängt. Bisher funktionierte der FileGetter immer, wenn er benötigt wurde.... das war einmal... ### 5/5 — Perfekt! *2017-03-04* Nach Installation des FileGetterHelper auf dem Windows PC kann ich mit dieser App die Laufwerke des PC genauso einfach durchsuchen wie mit dem FileExplorer auf Windows. Und ich kann mir Dateien oder ganze Ordner einfach über WLAN auf mein iPad holen. Somit komme ich wesentlich(!) einfacher an Dateien, als erst über einen iTunes Sync gehen zu müssen. ### 5/5 — Great *2016-09-22, version 1.22* This app works great. It freezes while fetching and even restarting or deleting the downloads don't do anything.
